The food was super delish. My only complaint was my beef kabob was a little tough and I wasn’t too impressed with the Tziki sauce.

This place is located on my way from work; decided to order the Kafka Kabob, lamb curry with a hummus and bread. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were plentiful. It took a little while for the food to be served as the server was busy handling other seated patrons, but once the food came the service was prompt and courteous. Overall, I would recommend this place.

I have the pleasure of working here from time to time doing they’re plumbing. This family restaurant is not only one of the cleanest, but also some of the most friendly and accommodating people you’ll ever meet. I have never had this type of food before, and omg. I’m hooked! Thank you guys. If only you could open a place in Harford county!

This place closed for quite a while and then re-opened. Very interesting former history which allegedly includes some espionage and spy type stuff… for real folks, allegedly, story in the now defunct Gazette… I miss the Gazette… But I had a gyro platter and side order hummus and chick peas and mango lassi. Skimpy on gyro meat, for 10dollars, more meat needed sorry… portion was better with former counter folks before the closure and re-opening. Hummus ok, needed a bit more salt… but that’s my opinion Bread, super huge piece yeah, yummy Chick peas, yummy, yummy, not too much spice nice seasoning, enjoyed these. Mango lassi(hope I spelled this right) yummy My mom had some of that chopped salad with parsley, lemon… you know what I mean if you like this kind of cuisine, very refreshing and yummy. Had small bits of chopped up lemon peel and all… super small pieces… I thought this was weird but when I tasted it… it was just so fresh and light. This might be my go to carry out snack from now on. Establishment was clean, Restroom was clean note light switch was on outside of ladies room on wall… Go figure… But clean never-the-less Nice people at the counter much more friendly and personable than the former folks Will I go back probably as long as it stays like it is now… always like something different to snack on when visiting my family in the area. Yogurt sauce was yummy to me also. I really want to give it 3.5 stars if I could do that I will. Can’t do 4 stars till I try more stuff establish consistency for taste and quality… But I’ve always like this place, I missed it when it closed… glad they are back on the«strip»

Ugh so disappointed in this place! I was so excited to try a local middle eastern restaurant and this place didn’t deliver. I ordered the lamb kabob platter which came with rice, salad, & a side of chickpeas. For starters the lamb was so dry and tough. It also lacked seasonings. The best part of the platter was the chickpeas. It was in some kind of sauce which was awesome. Lastly, they gave me this small not so fresh salad. Besides the food, the restaurant wasn’t that decorated and it was cold inside. But I will say the staff was friendly. Overall, unfortunately I won’t be returning to this place.

Soon as you enter you can smell the aroma of yhe spices which is very appetizing. Food is great and top notch. The people are nice and accommodating. Gave it a 4 cause the name is misleading, i expected gourmet and its far from that.

First timer, ordered chicken kebob. Chicken was over cooked, very dry. Rice also not properly cooked. Bread was very big and thick. No yogurt sauce for dipping provided. ¼ tomato and onion given were not grilled enough. Finally price too high for small amount of chicken. Won’t repeat.

I have been coming here for the past 18 years and they have the best kebabs in town. The prices are reasonable and you get big portions. Kebabs are well seasoned and juicy. The make the bread fresh to-order in a tandoori oven. I crave their food and wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

Price is a little absurd for Styrofoam, but the food is consistently great. Try the Tabouleh, it’s really good. Wish I could get that instead of their normal sides :)

First off, this place smells great! Food comes out quickly. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside it’s neat and clean.

I love this place! Their food is so tasty. I get a different combo every time. I love the way they cook the eggplants, and their lamb kabobs are so yummy. The last time I went was a few weeks ago, but my mouth is watering right now thinking about their eggplant dish and kabobs. They won’t give you your food right away because they want to serve the food to you nice and hot, so be patient. The restaurant is very plain looking inside.

I was fiending for a falafel, but I wasn’t about to drive to my favorite place in DC. After google searching, Gourmet Shish Kebab came up. Since the outside didn’t look appealing, I never thought to stop here. I placed an ordered over the phone, and the person was quite plesant. When I entered the place, I noticed that the set-up was basic… nothing major. There is a glass case that has the various sides and kababs. As much as I love channa, I opted for the falafel wrap. The falafels(which are perfectly seasoned and cooked) are served in a warm naan, with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, feta, cucumbers, and a nice sauce. Althought I have visited here over 5 times, I ALWAYS get a falafel wrap. The other dishes look and smell good, but my true addiction is the falafel wraps. They are the BEST that I’ve had.

This place was hiding under my nose the entire time. I’ve been living in the area for going on 5 years now and never once seen this place as it is tucked off the main road and you can easily drive past it. Starving and craving lamb is what led me to come across this location using Unilocal! My wife and I love good Mediterranean food, but in our area it is hard to find. Cutting to the chase: I went here on a Unilocal recommendation and found it to be a place I continue to frequent. My first visit I tried the mild lamb gyro platter which was the gyro and a salad. The tzatziki sauce was one of the freshest, most flavorful one I have tasted on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. I ordered an extra one to dip my gyro in. My wife ordered the spicy grilled lamp with rice. The lamp took a little while to cook. Like 15 minutes, but it was well worth it. Service: The service for this place was pretty nice. The staff are friendly and are willing to help you if you have any questions. Depending on your meal, it can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes to get, so just be mindful if you’re in a rush not to order the lamb chops. Quality: The quality of the food was pretty impressive. I am still thoroughly impressed with the gyro and lamb chops. The gyro is stuffed with fresh vegetables, meat(thinly sliced), and fresh gyro bread(not sure what it’s real name is). The grilled lamb is well seasoned and tasted amazing. It wasn’t cooked to short or too long, but just right. I strongly recommend this place.

Apparently, the 2012 Gnat Convention was in progress when my fiancée and I had lunch here. They were everywhere, and featured flies as their guest speakers — ICK. If I didn’t live so far, I would have definitely ordered my food to GO. Very divey but the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. I ordered a spicy chicken kabob with chickpeas — the meat was seasoned nicely and they give me a piece of flatbread that deserved its own zip code. The gnats attempted to hijack my food but I was able to deter them. Unfortunately, using their bathroom was a terrifying experience. Cold, dark, and rapey. The belligerent toilet was was like«Oh, you want to flush me? Mwooohahaha, stupid girl. Flushing is for sissies.» I’ll be back though … with an empty bladder and fly swatter.
