There are two Hardee’s in Laurel. This is one I rarely frequent due to its location. The restaurant is decorated well. It is easy to get to right off of I 59 and has ample parking. The dining area seems a little larger than the 16th avenue location. My steak biscuit was good. Typical Hardee’s. You can’t go wrong with their breakfast biscuits.

I wouldn’t stop here if I were you! Got off the interstate after dark and thought we’d get a burger at Hardee’s. First of all, there was some loitering going on and the whole thing had a very shady feel to it. Even so, we walked past the loiterers(definitely seemed up to no good — maybe dealing?) and entered the restaurant. The bathrooms were dirty but usable. The dining room was clean enough, but had a funny smell. The three workers we saw seemed absolutely clueless and generally showed a disinterest in serving us. After waiting at the counter for 3 – 4 minutes to order before the cashier finally put down the mop she was using in the dining room and then having the cashier walk away before we were done with our order we decided to take our business elsewhere and not risk whatever terrible fate was awaiting us at Hardee’s in South Laurel. Just don’t do it. Drive on and try Ward’s like we did. Just as exit or two away.
