This is my place to get my hair cut. I was not born with movie star good looks so I will take the help and the ladies provide it. The prices are great and the hair cuts are even better.

Clean and friendly barbershop/​hair salon. She (Ms. Jackie) did a wonderful job trimming and layering my hair. I like that she asked me how I wanted my hair cut and gave me exactly what I asked. We had a great conversation and I walked out happy.

I went to get a haircut from here recently, and to be honest I was a little disappointed. I was expecting a little more service, such as a hot lather afterwards (the laurel barbershop next to office depot does this) but the haircut was decent. All in all a very «meh» experience.

Moved here 5 years ago, and spent the first year on a tour of local barbers, until I found Jackie’s. What sets her apart is the combination of quality, low price, attention to detail, and great hours. She is off on Tuesdays, but her employees are excellent barbers as well.

Jackie does a great job. Always polite, clean, and nice atmosphere. I have my hair cut short but she does cuts it even and the fade is perfect! Price is reasonable. I saw an earlier comment stating cash only. She added a credit card machine a while back so she takes cash or credit now.

I have been going to Jackies for the past two years for a mens haircut. At the beginning they did and excellent job; however lately they seem to be not consistent. The last two times that I have gone there my haircut has been not very good. The price for the cut is reasonable and usually there is not much for a wait.

Couldn’t really ask for anything more. I mean it’s not anything fancy, but I got a simple men’s haircut and they did it just right without wasting any time. Although the women don’t say much, everything they do say is followed with a big smile, and the atmosphere just feels comfortable. I personally prefer not having to make small talk in these situations, so the experience was just right.

Very Professional group. You tell them what to do and they do it right.
Clean and cozy. Not a lot of talking which is better they are focused.
They do good hair color, perm and cut ofcourse (no nails and braiding). They do get busy in the late afternoon.
I found my salon amongs all the barbershops around LAurel/​Savage.
Just request for JAckie… and no one else. Unless your cutting all your hair off !!

Jackie’s usually has two women cutting hair (Jackie is the chattier of the two). They’re pretty speedy and do a good job. I’ve never waited more than 5 – 10 minutes for a haircut, but remember it’s cash only.
