This might be the worst«sporting goods» place around. And yes, I know some people hate the overuse of quoting things, but really, if you are going to call yourself a sporting goods store, shouldn’t you have legit sporting goods? So, I was cruising up Route 1 and knowing that I needed to get some tees and golf balls for a golf excursion, I figured that this place would have exactly what I needed. Not a tall order to think that this place would carry such basic golf materials. Well apparently«sporting goods» is ghettotastic for not having anything worthwhile. In terms of golf balls, the place had some refurbished ones and some older Wilson golf balls. I’m not a ball snob, it isn’t like I need a box of Pro V1s here, but how about something made after 2009? The only good thing was the price: $ 6.99 for a dozen. So yea, I didn’t buy anything here, and by the looks of the people in the store they weren’t buying either. I will say one thing positive about the place, they have a lot of people working. No less than 3 times was I asked if I needed help finding anything. Not like they could have helped though. I won’t be returning.

Not really anything special as far as clothing or shoes. Some stores rate(a market, b, c etc…)on the type of market, usually this area gets the best despite the name of the store the inventory will differ. Not Modell’s. Size runs are for regular size guys, small to xtra large. Come on. Shoes, you will be hard pressed to find any type of acceptable choices above a 13.(size 14s please). Sporting goods… the basic staples, I have never purchased any goods here the prices are too high and I am in the sports world professionally. I lucked out a few times and found some jordan sweats that were returned by accident to the worng store and some awesome reebok NFL windbreakers about 4 years ago… size 4x which was amazing that they had that size.
