Ordered GutterGlove Pro Super for a DIY install. Had multiple interactions with Eric and found him to be responsive — even late night email responses to my late night emails. He was helpful with my ton of questions prior to ordering and more importantly, he was still responsive and helpful after completing the transaction helping me out with a few questions for a DIY installer. He even helped me resolve an issue with my short-sightedness and provided me with the additional materials needed. If I were the type to not do everything myself then I would certainly consider NGC for the install. Also, I checked with 3 different merchants(1 ended up not being allowed to sell this product in my area) and found his prices to be the best.

We paid in cash to have a new roof installed(with 2 skylights) one year ago. We recently had some heavy rain with high winds. The skylight in the master bath started leaking and, as a result, caused significant damage to the interior drywall(and perhaps the underlying wood). I called NGC and they came out when I wasn’t home and patched the roof. No note. No followup phone call. I emailed Eric Kolb(owner) to ask them to address the damage caused by the leaking roof. His response was, and I quote, «The warranty for the roof only covers repairing the roof itself. Incidental damage is not covered. In this case it looks like high winds blew up some of the shingles near the skylight which allowed water in. Unfortunately I don’t have anyone on my staff that knows how to fix drywall.» We had some minor issues with them when the installation was being done as well. They left pieces of the old gutter just laying in the yard. They didn’t finish painting the sunroom addition in time(before winter) so had to wait a couple of months to get that done. I’m a very patient person so this wasn’t a problem for me. But not stepping up and taking responsibility for damage incurred due to their neglegence — that’s a problem. Funny…the old roof was in place since 1986 and the skylight NEVER leaked. So I’m not buying the excuse about high winds. We’ve definitely had high winds in the 24 years of having the old roof. Hey, Eric, if you’re reading this and want to fix the damage, give me a call. Amanda in Columbia(21046).
