I work a few buildings away and thought this would be a good place to grab a quick lunch to bring back to the office before the next meeting. When my group of three came in there was a whopping four people in the entire restaurant. Our order consisted of two simple sandwiches and two salads. We ended up waiting a half an hour for the salads after checking on them three times. The second time one of the employees informed us he would bring the food out given the extraordinary amount of time we had waited for the two sandwiches. The third time we asked we were told the salads had been sitting there for five minutes despite the assurance that it would be brought out. Long story short I cannot comment on the food as I no longer had time left to eat it. So all in all we paid for two salads that were not eaten and ended up being very late to return to work. Nothing like not eating for ten straight hours after waiting in what was supposedly a sandwich shop for 30 minutes for nothing. Hopefully the birds in the parking lot enjoyed the salads. I understand a place being busy(which this place certainly did not appear to be), but a little management of expectations was in order as we would have cancelled on the spot and gone elsewhere. We will no longer be recommending this business to any of our people as the folks at my place of business are always very busy people who simply cannot afford to lose 30 minutes waiting for a salad.

I found myself in the area while hankering a bagel sandwich and the only non fast food chain that came up with this. So, why not? I was a bit surprised when I drove up to see it was a café in an office building.(Guess I should have really read not just glanced at the reviews.) But I decided to still stop in because 1) I’ve been to decent sandwich shops in offices before and 2) how hard is it to throw together an egg and cheese bagel sandwich… or so I thought. My egg and cheese on whole wheat bagel was the epitome of bland. Honestly, despite the varying textures, I couldn’t decipher one ingredient from another taste wise. At least it was hot, attesting to it being freshly made. I will second another reviewer’s mention of the lack of hair nets back of house. I made sure to check my food but still, isn’t that against health code? The only reason why I have this place two stars is because the staff was awfully nice. But nice only makes up so much for tasteless food with a change of hair.

I work nearby and eat here several workdays per week for lunch. I love their salad bar, they have a good variety of options such as at least 2 types of pasta, avocado salad, fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, tofu, etc. They mix their selections up enough on the salad bar so that you don’t have to eat the same thing every day. Their sandwiches are made from Boar’s Head meats, their bread is hearty and fresh, they offer wraps as well. It’s not quite as good as it used to be with the new ownership; the prices have gone up. But I think for a deli their salad bar selection is great and their sandwiches are always fresh. I am not a fan of their soups and I also don’t like their omelets, they seem greasy. My favorite is their salmon cakes, sometimes offered on the salad bar! Overall it’s convenient and healthy food for anyone who works nearby.

I use to love on a roll, until it was sold to a young inexperienced sister and brother team. The food went downhill and the service did too. All the favorites that Sherri(the former owner sold), disappeared along with the great customer service and friendly atmosphere. I’ve SPOKETONUMOROUSPEOPLETHATWORKINTHEBUILDINGANDNOONELIKESGOINGTOEATTHERE!!! However, it is convenient. The food is tasteless and I have found hair in my food several times. None of the kitchen staff wear nets on their heads. The prices are never consistent. Today was the straw for me and I will never go back in there. I had been a patron for over three years, but they will never get another dollar from me.

It’s a small food establishment on the lower level of an office complex. Don’t expect it to be 5 stars people! Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is 5 stars. They have an extensive menu & also offer a salad bar with more than the normal greens & veggies. Everything is fresh & done relatively well. Careful though, prices on-line & on the to-go menu are not correct. It’s hard to get to though so if you’re driving park around back & walk up the steps. Voila! You’re there!

Ah, Maryland, a putrid hive of bad dining options and large swaths with limited restaurant availability. While finding myself in Laurel on assignment, I asked Unilocal where the closest lunch places were. Only four or five places even existed nearby, and On A Roll was the only one with more than three stars. I was cautious though because it only had two reviews, and rightfully so it turns out. It appears these five-star reviews must have come from Marylanders who’ve become accustomed to such travesties in dining. On A Roll: — Horrible location, one tiny sign that direct you to a parking lot for a couple of buildings and you just sort of have to guess where it is. Then, it’s at the very back of the building when you go in past the front desk. — The menu seems quite robust, which is good, but they also have a salad bar that just looked straight up wimpy. — I ordered the chicken Philly combo, with fries and a drink. There was a LONG wait, despite there only being two people ahead of me and about four workers. — When my sandwich arrived — the fries were nowhere to be seen. They had forgotten them. So I had to wait EVENLONGER for the fries. Which, they use the same exact fries all Korean delis use, which are delicious and crispy. So fresh fries, and such a generous portion, were good. The oversight was not. — When I get to my seat and open up my sandwich — it’s not chicken. It’s a Philly cheeseSTEAK. I specifically saw CHICK written on the ticket, the cook just messed it up. The also hadn’t given me a drink cup so I just sort of wandered up to the cashier stand and reached over and grabbed one myself. This place has OK food, nothing special. It could use more flavoring/spice actually. But they really just don’t have it together. Next time I’ll be smart and just wait it out until I return to Virginia!

I have been coming to this place for over a year now and love i! and felt like it needed a more good reviews. This place has an awesome salad bar with fresh food and they change up sides for example today they had spicy tofu and grilled fish. You can order off their menu too. You can call in an order ahead of time. It’s pretty quick, except during the lunchtime rush which is between 12 and 1245. All in all I definitely recommend you come here, it’s only open on the weekdays when the office building is open. Reasonably priced too. :) win!

The place itself is clean and decorated well. The service was friendly. They have a wide variety of foods and the food was delicious. I will be returning!
