Sky Nails

They did a nice job on my eyebrows. I understand they will even color your eyebrows for you for a small fee. Pretty impressive. I have to see how they would protect your eyes first of course before making that challange. I will keep you posted.

I wish it was 0 star. Awful. They need to close down.
10 reasons why this place should/​must NOT be on your list:
1– Dirty and messy environment
2– Staff is aight not the best quality in town especially for the price they charge.
3– This people use their materials w/​o sanitizing them. How filthy is that with the amount of germs and diseases out there? That’s just ewwwwww
4– The guy that did my nails seemed on drugs and kept on calling me baby or honey. Now I am a married woman with values and morals. You just don’t call someone’s spouse like that. We are NOT buddies.
5– Job done on my toes: POOR. So bad that the guy even cut me.
6– Job done on my hands: cheap nail polish. Got it done on Friday, it looks like I’ve never had manicure before.
7– The worse was one of the tech, listening to music out loud like he was in his room while working on a lady’s hand.
8– The smell for a first timer, I thought it was awful.
9– The staff talk to each other across the room as if no one was in. Pretty disrespectful.
10– Left with very dry hands and feet and I have to go back and redo not to forget pay some money to have it done.
JUST TERRIBLE! I believe in tips, but this place actually owe me money and I will report them on how they use their materials. Disgusting…

I was not pleased with my fill-​in at all. They guy who did my nails was a little creepy, barely said two words but seemed very attentive to the details of my nails. I thought «this is going to be great», but I was wrong. There was an excessive amount of acrylic on my nails and I had to ask him to file them down to look more natural, and not like peanuts on my fingernails. Even after he was done filing, there were gaps in between where the acrylic meets my cuticle.
Then there was the paint job, he just globbed the paint on my nails. The paint was all over my fingers both above and below my nail bed. I thought «he cannot leave it like this» and he then began to paint along my fingernails, cleaning up the excess paint.
I tend not to micromanage and stare at nail techs when they’re working on my hands, so by the time he was done, it was too late. My nails look like my 7 year old step-​daughter painted them during one of our beauty sessions.
Unfortunately, I had to leave so I could not have them correct it, but I won’t be going back, ever.
My eyebrows are decent though, they do good eyebrows.

A bad experience for me! I just moved to the area and was looking for a gel manicure and Spa pedicure. The salon looked dirty and old. The couple that works at the salon had their 2 daughters hovering all over the salon and at the customers. They were crying and throwing fits in front of customers, which was very distracting. The service it self was horrible. I asked for a gel manicure and the men that helped me decided to give me a full set instead, which i repeatedly told him i did not wanted a full set. He was rough and didn’t massage or cleaned my cuticles at all. The pedicure was alright. I wont be returning to this salon, i rather drive the 30 minutes to Columbia.

I have been going to Sky Nails for almost 8 years now. I Won’t go ANYWHERE else (even to point when I’m out of town I, try to, wait till I am back so I can get ALEC to do my nails!
I Model Professionally & won’t trust them to anyone else because I know they will look good & LAST! The designs are wonderful (a french mani w/​sparkly jewels & whatever 3 colours I ask for) & I let Alec «free-​for-​all» the style 90% of the time & am always pleased with it.
I get compliments on them & asked where I get them done & have people be VERY disappointed when I tell them in MD & I am outta state!
The quality is exceptional for the cost. They do a wonderful job on my eyebrows too (THANK YOU CeeCee!!) and I always leave with a smile! It is a relaxing time for me to.
I just moved from College Park to Salisbury & have told my husband that «We ARE coming across the Bay Bridge to get my nails/​brows done Once a month!!!». Currently in Rome (Modeling & with Family) & can’t wait to get back to a REAL nail salon who wont butcher my nails or brows!

Best nail shop to go to!!! I’m not from this area but I just moved up here and I’ve been looking for a good nail shop and I have finally found it! They can do simple designs like flowers, French tips, or plain nails, and they can freestyle and do designs. They also do crackle nails and (unlike HNT nails they don’t charge an extra $ 5) outside of the regular nail design!
For a fill-​in at Sky Nails and a design on every nail (including my crackle nail design on 2 nails) my total came to: $ 25
For a fill-​in at HNT Nails and a design on every nail (including my crackle design on 2 nails) my total came to: $ 30 because they charge more money for the crackle nail design even though it’s only nail polish!!! That’s crazy!!!
Sky nails staff is so friendly and they make sure you are getting the best treatment! They talk to you and make you feel comfortable! I definitely will be going back! And you should come here too especially if your looking for a GREAT nail salon!
