This is a local(Laveen) Youth Baseball association(LYBA), similar to Little League, for kids T-ball and up. It’s a scam and a sham. We signed my son up for spring baseball. The coach showed up intermittently to practices and games and then stopped showing up at all. The trickle down was this… kids started not showing up to practices or games and those of us who committed to the season had to scramble to find subs. And, that’s when we had games. We had a schedule but had over two-thirds of the games canceled and not rescheduled. I tried repeatedly to contact LYBA, but no one returned my emails(no wonder because there are three emails for the President of the association listed on the site — same name so they all looked the same except the domains were different. One warning would be to go to their website. There’s no address, phone number and the email addresses they do list don’t work. I actually filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I’ve been so fed up. Sign up for South Mountain YMCA baseball or some other reputable league in the area.
