Great service and great food. The salmon was perfect. I didn’t even need a sauce for dipping. They have loaded mashed potatoes that were addictive. It was a relief to have a good restaurant after traveling. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Decent food for a chain with substantial variety on the menu. They have something for everyone and generally that have HUGE portions so if you have a weak will and a desire to diet, watch out.
It’s a good to have a dependable restaurant in the area that fills this niche. They have about 9 restaurants in SC and NC, so there is some experience here to back up the business and the menu.
It’s a step above many chains, a good bit better than bar food but don’t expect a fine dining experience. It’s a good place to do some business, meet with neighbors or friends and family while getting a dependably good, albeit very filling meal.
We have eaten in the Anderson location and find that this is very similar, although Anderson has more personality. This is a newer facility, but it lacks ambiance.

Overall restaurant was very clean and the host and server was very friendly. The BBQ Chicken Cheese nacho dish was awesome, but wasn’t layered appropriately, as the majority of the cheese was at the bottom of the dish. The entrée came with a salad and a side. The caesar salad looked incredible, and was accompanied with a sweet flavored croissant. Personally, I did not like the sweet flavor on the roll and it was drizzled on the salad. I asked if I could exchange the salad for one without dressing. The sever was very friendly and exchanged it for me. The steak was a massive 14oz. The meat was cold, though tasted flavorful. The steak dipping sauce was cold too. I loved the sweet potato fries!

We are weekend regulars here. Always consistent and yucky food.

Horrible service. Our server went past our table several times without refilling my husband’s drink. He also asked if I needed a refill (of an obviously empty glass) before we had our food. I wanted to tell him, no, of course not. It was an obvious yes. He seemed more concerned with a bigger party than he did our party of three. My husband’s steak had a horrible flavor and no seasoning. My J Peter’s chicken had no sauce on it. My son had the kid’s meal, and his fries were better than anything we ordered. Needless to say, I doubt we will be back.

Salad had way too much dressing on it, burger was dry french fries could have been crispier tasted like they were pre cooked and then just re-​warmed. The lava shrimp appetizer was good. All on all so so on the service and over all not spectacular!!!

The restaurant is right across the parking lot from the Hampton inn. I heard this place was known to give you plenty of food. So I was torn between the chicken tenders and the prime rib sandwich.
The bartender recommended the prime rib sandwich. Wow, It was really good.
The side salad was awesome! I recommend to get the side salad.
The homemade fries were delicious.

Best steakhouse in the Tri state area! Best house salad. Steak was tender & cooked to perfection! Speed of service and waitress was excellent. Prices are reasonable. This is our new favorite place to eat!

Since we are eating late on Valentine’s Day they were out of their #1 steaks and mashed potatoes. They are pricey but I say worth it and clean.

Food is usually good. Servings are large. Atmosphere is noisey. Smokers claim outside seating, making it impossible to have a nice meal on the deck.

Horrible service. Our server started off with telling our party of 12 how busy he was and that his other party would likely not tip him. He followed up with setting down a tray full of waters on the table for us to disperse ourselves. Our cocktails took 15+ minutes to arrive (we got our salads before our drinks).
My fiancé ordered his salad with no almonds, due to an allergy, and when his salad arrived it was covered with sliced almonds. He then went to the bar to order a drink, since we had not seen our server for quite some time. The server stopped my fiancé and told him that we would have his drink out momentarily. 10 minutes later he still did not receive his drink. We asked the manager, as well as the server about the drink, before it was delivered.
My salmon, as well as my mother’s mahi, was dry and tasteless. Not once did the server come to check on us; I had to flag him down to send my salmon back.
There were tables stacked with dirty plates and cups, and not once did I see a server or bus boy stop to clean anything up. I tried to use the women’s bathroom twice, and both times there was not any toilet tissue in either of the stalls.
Finally the manager came over in an attempt to apologize for our bad experience, and her excuse was «I’m sorry, we just did like 9 grand.» Incredibly unprofessional staff all around.

I eat here every so often. They have great appitizers and good food. Its very clean and the beer is cold. Their hamburgers are 1^st class. The price is reasonable for what I believe is the nicest restaurant in the area!

Visiting the area on business. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and yellow rice. Both were executed flawlessly. Great service and food.

Take out: shrimp & flounder, comes with huge salad, their honey dip croissant, and a side dish which I selected steamed veggies. More than enough food and very tasty — even for takeout. Their fried seafood breading held up being under steam with a closed container and was cooked perfectly. The salad was generous also and not just your typical garden salad. It had eggs and Bacon bits. You could also opt for a caesar salad.
I also ordered the she crab soup which was also delicious and I was so thankful that it want super salty (can’t tell you how many times that can happen with soups and chowders). The total for takeout, just over $ 25.

I am a local, we live within two miles. All the food I have tried is very good and the salad with the honey coated croissants to die for. They are a bit pricey.

Great fried shrimp and those croissants will make you slap your grandma. I love having this place in Lavonia, they did a great job with a large group too. We will be back.

The main courses were delicious. We had the jpeters chicken, club sandwich, blackened chicken pasta, and the fish and shrimp plate. Main course and salads were tasty and delicious. The croissants were adored by all and a nice addition to the house dressing. Everything was cooked well and hot when it arrived. The desserts are the only reason I did not give it 4 stars. The banana pudding was some fusion form of dessert that we did not like at all with white chocolate shavings but no waifers. The strawberry croissant dessert was mushy and way too sweet. The chocolate brownie WAS good, so just stick with one and you will be happy. All portions should feed WAY more than 1 person. I recommend it without hesitation but not for dessert.

If you like hair in your soup, this is your place!!! The soup was lukewarm as well. They weren’t busy. It was mixed in so I had eaten half of my soup before I found the buried treasure.

As it goes they are not crises at. 1:30 on Sunday. We had a party of 11. Some f is came out after 25 minutes, then the apps came, then the kids meals and as of right now 6 of us, after 40 months bites don’t have meals and some of our party has eaten their full meal.

The service, the atmosphere, and the food is always excellent. We go several times a year.
This restaurant gives a small town a dose of class that’s unusual for a place like Lavonia. It’s a welcome change.
