This is a classic ballroom, they have recently updated their cooling system which is a big bonus. Nice place for a reception or other event. Nice people to work with.

I don’t know why it says ‘closed’ when I was just there last month for a wedding and apparently lots of people have special events here. This place makes a great venue to hold a wedding reception but with this in mind many people who are not from the Midwest that may show up to such things need to keep in mind the oppressive humidity in Iowa. The wedding reception I went to really was decorated pretty on the inside but to the venue’s disadvantage there is no air conditioning so after just a few brief minutes of dancing many people had to go outside to cool off and it was very hot outside to begin with. The moral of this story is hold your receptions here in the spring or fall.
