I love this trail! We biked from Colebrook(there is a very nice, large parking area there) to just past Cornwall. about 6.5 miles one way. It was shaded about 95% of the way which was great on a hot day. About a 2% grade so slightly uphill much of the way going northeast. There were signs pointing out the different types of trees. Near Cornwall they had this cute little Rails to Trails shop that was in the shape of a root beer barrel. They sold snacks, water, root beer and t-shirts. I wanted to get a t-shirt but they only accepted cash. Not sure of their hours but they were in the parking area in Cornwall. Very nice trail, we will be back!

This is quite a nice trail. It connects to the conewago trail in lancaster and its slightly wider and a little quieter. With fewer intersections and parking lots, there are fewer people in the longer in between sections. It does have mile markers, but sometimes they can be hard to spot as they are wood colored and short. But thats my only real complaint with this trail. Like the conewago trail, there is no real address for this so I used the closest interesction from mile marker 1 which is the end of conewago and beginning of LVR.
