We’ve been ordering take out or delivery From here since the 90’s. Their kabobs are the best in southbay hands down. The new owners Have run the place for a year now and I am happy to see they kept the same good quality and service. try their chicken kabob or Chicken Kubide, amaaazing.

This quality of the food and service at this place has gone down the drain unfortunately. We have been regular customers at this joint for the last 7 years. The original owner sold the place to a family that was pretty much managing the business themselves and made It a little family owned/run restaurant. and the quality was maintained for quite some time but then it just started going down hill as the owner or his sons were never present at the business any more. We had lunch here about a week ago and my wife ordered the Alfredo pasta while I got the lunch special plate(chicken kabab). Her food had no flavor no taste whatsoever. It was bland and she left her meal after having two quick bites of it. My chicken kabab looked like it was frozen and was reheated and served to me on a plate. We both left our meals, paid the tab and left. I won’t be eating here anytime in the near future unless their ratings go up again. Get it together Hank’s Bistro!

I always get the spaghetti with meat sauce and the portion is huge. Enough for 2 people easily. The meatballs are good but the sauce is delicious. The garlic bread has great flavor and is perfect for soaking up that sauce. I used to get the salad but I tried the soup and now I’m hooked. They deliver pretty fast also, I use Eat24 to order.

Service slow and sloppy. Food way undercooked when asked for well done. Would never recommend any of their Persian food Tadig was chewy and inedible

Disappointing. Was really looking forward to some good Persian food delivery. Steak kebab barg was not good quality and the chicken breast kebab was downright awful — seemed like it had been microwaved a couple times. Fesenjoon was way too sweet(but I know some people like it that way). The salad shirazi and must o khiar were both very good though. Note this review is for an eat24 order. Delivery took about an hour and 45 mins when the estimate was 45−60mins. Delivery guy forgot parts of the order and had to come back. Also missing side of grilled onions. Person on the phone was very polite and helpful.

Delicious food, a bit on the pricey side $ 15 – 20 a plate. Their beef and chicken combo plate is worth the money. I always enjoy sitting by their lovely fish tank as I wait for my food.

This place serves Italian food and Persian food which seems like a weird combination to have in one restaurant. I’ve never been here before and my husband wanted to try it out. I opted for some Persian food. I got the beef and chicken kabob combo. It was very tasty. It came with rice, a grilled tomato and a salad. The portions are huge so I shared my food. Unless you’re extra hungry or sharing with someone else, you’ll be leaving with leftovers. I know Hank’s Bistro has been around for a long time and the good food and nice servers are the reason why.

Hank’s bistro has been around for a long time, so you know their doing something right. Its a small cute place with a bright fish tank and wonderful employees. I am a creature of habit and I only have had one dish here, the boneless chicken with basmati rice. The chicken is soooo moist and flavorful and the rice is something I can eat every day, light, fluffy, and tasty. The parking can get congested depending when you come, but this is a must try for Persian food.

My family and I have been coming to Hank’s Bistro for many years. We enjoy their Persian cuisine the best. The boneless chicken kabob(#115– leg and thigh) is our favorite thing to order. It’s a marinated and flamed broiled to perfection! It’s served on a bed of rice with the most delicious saffron flavor and a grilled tomato. The flavors work very well. Other side favorites are the olivieh salad and the shirazi salad. Simple, but tasty. Although the the restaurant has undergone various ownership/management changes, I’ve personally never had a bad experience. The overall décor inside the restaurant is a bit tired. Maintained clean, but color scheme is a bit drab. I’ve used their delivery service in the past and no complaints there. Reasonable wait time and order was always accurate. If you are in the area and looking to try something new, check it out!

Good place to eat with an eclectic menu of halal cuisines: Italian, persian, American. Chicken Alfredo Pasta is better than Olive Gardens. Wings are on point. Lasagna is cheesy and gooey. Overall enjoyable place to eat whatever u want!

If only I could’ve given negative stars… First off, they have the worst service ever! They placed us in a table with 6 chairs but only 3 silverware and plates. They don’t even come back to give you the rest(this happened both times I visited). Second, they bring your food one at a time and by the time one person is done eating, the next persons food arrives. We ordered Persian food and the rice was so cold that we knew it wasn’t fresh so we sent it back and asked for fresh rice and all they did was warm up the rice in the microwave and brought it back to us. By the time they brought it back, we lost our appetite. Third, they never even come up to our table and ask if everything is all right… if we need any refills on our drinks… if our food is okay! Overall, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. This isn’t a mistake that has happened only once. Go spend your money somewhere else where the food is actually fresh and the service is good!

This place is a strange cross of Italian and Persian food but both cuisines are well done. The sour cherry rice and kabobs are juice and flavorful, the lasagna was great. Sometimes odd things do work out :) 10% off with Unilocal checkin.

The place is a little small but it’s pretty good in here. We had the spicy shrimp pasta, some other vegetarian one, and the chicken and steak kubideh. All were really good! I’m not much of a fan of Mediterranean food but their kubideh were amazing! Servers were nice. Tried their desserts as well but it was eh. I think I’d rather go somewhere else for desserts.

Still a fan. Even though they have upped their delivery charge from 4, to 5, then to 6 dollars just recently, I guess I am okay with it. Our usual order is the gormeh sabzi stew(5 stars!!!), kubideh kabob, yogurt with cucumber, some sort of pasta, and the calamari app. This time around, the bf was tired of kabob and gormeh, so we just ordered a different stew, the calamari, and the linguine and clams. I’ve had the linguine and clams in-house, and from what I remembered it was really good. The delivery version wasn’t BAD, but I think it’s just one of those pastas you should eat in. For the stew we ordered the Gheymeh Bademjan, which is a beef, eggplant, and yellow split pea persian stew. Very tasty. Tender meat, fall apart eggplant that you can mash into rice… I still think their Gormeh is the best stew though. The Gheymeh Bademjan has a very subtle flavor, whereas the Gormeh Sabzi is a flavor punch in the face. Mixed with rice, and even yogurt, both are savory and delicious. For the calamari: we order this every time. One comment my bf made was that they skimped on the portion this time around. Meh. Overall, Hank’s is extremely exceptional for delivery food. The people are always nice. I had a mixup with eat24 this past order(my fault), and they were very helpful and friendly. The above meal was around $ 57 including tip and the delivery fee. Kind of pricey for three dishes, but for delivery food, it’s worth it.
