I was craving some shrimp so tried this place today with the family. I tried the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp ranchero. My wife got the Fiesta plate which came with grilled crawfish, shrimp and fish. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and hit the spot. The shrimp ranchero was great. But the grilled shrimp and the fish on the Fiesta plate were amazing. The waitress said the shrimp are shrimp with garlic sauce and the fish was bass with garlic sauce. I would get both these again. The crawfish were ok. The crawfish, langostinos at Las Islas Marias in Huntington park are better. Over, it was not crowded when we went at 1pm on a Saturday and the atmosphere was good. Will be back.

La Fiesta has the best Mariscos in town! I love the Cocktail Campechana. I also suggest trying the Mexican style oysters. Overall, great food for a great price.

This place is truly the best mariscos place in Los Angeles. Everything is fresh and delicious. I only wish it was bigger.

This is the Spot for some good shrimp cocktail and also for the shrimp ceviche. This is one of my local spots in the south bay. The only thing is that it’s small but the food is great.

Good place to grab some Mariscos really quick. They lost there liquor license the time I went there. But the waitress said it was only temporary. It was good place and the customer service was good. They are a little over priced but the food was good. I would recommend it if you want some Mariscos quick and don’t have a lot of time. Because there are better places then this in LA.

Last night I was craving seafood and let me tell you this place did not disappoint! I had the oysters which were extremely fresh and tasty. I also ordered the Parrillada La Fiesta which was just delicious. The potion was perfect and it came with grilled fish, shrimp and longastino(large prawns). The seasoning on the seafood was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Baja style grilled seafood.

Parrillada estilo fiesta and the carne asada sope were delicious!!! Great flavor and portions. Chips and salsa were also good. Inside of the restaurant is small and parking can be difficult but will definitely be back to try more things from their menu.

Had the aguachile, micheladas and flustas, it was super busy. l, we had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes, no big deal…99% of the customers are Spanish speaking but I thought the service was awesome so the comments about«white» service are clearly not the norm… it was awesome!

Bad bad bad! Didn’t seem to appreciate seeing white people walk in to try the restaurant we were treated rudely and they did not attend to us very well don’t bother going there if your white, food was so so you can find a lot better nearby like El Borrego just up the Street on Hawthorne 1 block north l el Borrego is way better

Wow… Best mariscos spot I’ve had in a very long time… If your bougie don’t come here and complain that it looks«gross» it’s a good ol hole in the wall mariscos spot. Must try the fiesta plate must must must!!!

This place was very tasty and super friendly though they seemed slightly shocked that I would have discovered it. It’s definitely a hole in the wall and it had no air conditioning but it was perfect for take out. I did find it to be a little pricey for my taste in hole in the wall locations. I wouldn’t rush back as there’s a better Mariscos place closer to my house in Hawthorne but it did the job on my craving for the day.

Southern California is rich and diverse with different foods… worldwide, if you want it, thought it, read about it, or even just discovered it… it is here somewhere waiting to be put on your dinner plate and enjoyed. So it was no surprise that for dinner tonight I didn’t need to look far. Unilocal reviews were all positive. The establishment is hidden in a little strip mall and quite unnoticeable. But look for it you will not be disappointed!!! The dining room is small, simple, but comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Seafood Cocktail as my starter, and the Mixed Grilled Seafood as the main entrée. I love shrimp cocktails, but this was much different then anything I’ve had before… it arrived first, in a large goblet, cold, and oh so tasty. This was perhaps the best seafood cocktail that I have ever had. Absolutely remarkable. Shrimp, scallops, tomatos, other chopped veggies in a very tasty broth. WOW!!! Next arrived the mixed grill seafood, with prawns, octopus, fish, scallops… the most remarkable of flavors. If I would have been the only person in the room, I’d have licked the plate. Yes, it was that good. When one thinks seafood, you don’t really think«mexican seafood»…Well, perhaps we should. Mariscos La Fiesta is a family owned and operated small business. These are your friends and neighbors… they are cooking up remarkable foods… go give them a try… you will not be disappointed!!!

Dear Mariscos LA Fiesta, I’m sitting here right now in your restaurant wondering why I must give you 2 stars today. I’ve been here plenty of times and I always leave with a smile on my face, but not today. We walked in and sat by the window as the waitress was mopping the floor and she stopped within a minute or two, came by and dropped off our menus. She came back a few minutes later after checking on the other three tables and asked about our drink order. She immediately brought the water back to our table and that’s when the service went straight to H-E Double Hockey Sticks. It took us a while to find a good Marisco restaurant and unfortunately after today’s service, we may never come back. I will definitely miss the large cocktails loaded with shrimp, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes. I also tried the shrimp tostada today and was not impressed. It was a little dry and had no flavor at all. Salt, limes, and Tapatio can only take you so far. Now, back to the service… There were four occupied tables in the restaurant and she checked on everyone in that restaurant but us. I’m not sure if it was a racial thing or she didn’t want to be bothered with speaking English(even though the person I was with is Latino and fluent in Spanish). I watched her walk to the right side of the restaurant and check on a family six times while we sat there wanting water. After the family left, two men walked in and she treated them the same as the others. At this point, she has yet to come over to see if we needed anything. She finally makes her way over to our table after serving the men their food and taking the order of another couple. She notices me looking at her and probably my facial expression. She comes to our table and rudely asks if I am done with my plate, I immediately say yes. I politely ask if my friend and I can have some more water before she zips off to the back. At this moment, I’m ready to go. I wanted to give this restaurant a higher ranking but after her performance it only gets two stars and that is because of the cocktail and previous experiences.

Thank you to Unilocal peeps for recommending this Mexican seafood place. I don’t have to drive all the way to LA to fulfill my shrimp cocktail craving. I had their Large mixed seafood cocktail $ 12 and it was delicious! It had lots of shrimp and chunks of octopus, scallop and avocado. The broth could’ve been more tamatoey and the octopus was a bit tough but it was still pretty good nonetheless. Their chips and salsa were dang good too. Spicy salsa and crispy chips! They have a large menu with lots of photos. So many seafood dishes to choose from. My friend had their huge plate of shrimp enchiladas with a side of rice, beans and veggies and she really liked it. Keep in mind that place is pretty small. And trust me when I say small. There were like 9 – 10 tables crammed inside lol. I dindn’t mind though. The service was okay. The lady didn’t speak English so it was a bit difficult to communicate. But it was okay. I just pointed at the photo of what I wanted ^_^. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving good Mexican seafood and don’t care about the ambiance.
