V & D Nails Spa

Very nice staff, soft jazz was playing throughout the store making for a relaxing visit. It was my first time here and I’d definitely return and recommend this place! We had no problem finding parking.

It says they open at 9 but no one is really here until 10:30 so make sure to come after that time.
They do a really good job and are very nice.

I just got my nails done, trying out this place for the first time and I had a horrible experience. The man that did my nails kept going to close to my cuticles with his little gun thing and cut my cuticle area several times. I asked him to stop and he didn’t. I then got gel on my acrylics and he did it uneven leaving parts of my nails not covered with nail polish he said he can’t fix it. I was very unhappy and the only reason they get 1 star is because they have reasonable prices. Let’s just say that I won’t be coming back and USA NAILS IS WAY BETTER!

First time here and absolutely had the best costumer service, employees were really nice, they took there time and weren’t harsh as other nail salons are on your feet and nails, Kevin did my stiletto claw nails and was really nice, took his time, made funny small talk and made sure I was happy with my nails and service definetly recommend!

I love this place! They take their time and are so sweet. I’ve been going here for the longest and will continue to go. The owners are the best!

I’ve been going to this nail shop for over 5 years I use to love them so much but they take wayyyyy to long now Kim is the only person that can do nails they r understaffed and I don’t feel like they show appreciation to the regulars I made an appt I was 5 minutes late and I was told she couldn’t do my nails bcus she waited for me I’m like 5 minutes wow I’ve made an appointment and still had to wait an hour with only 2 people n the chair I’ve been in the chair n it took 3 hours to do a terrible job… advice it’s really not worth it after over 5 years I will not return here

Kim does the best job of them all, I go here ever 2 weeks for acrylics. Their prices are great and they have a variety of colors. Only thing is the wait always runs longer than expected, if they say the wait is 5 – 10 minutes it usually turns into 30, so the best time to go is when it’s empty during the mornings.

I was a bit skeptical to come in at first because I am very picky with my who touches my nails. However, after leaving the salon I was 100% pleased.
First, I was attended right away. I went in for both a manicure/​gel application and a pedicure. The person working on my manicure took their time and did a very clean job. The person handing my pedicure cut my nails without hurting me. Eventually more people started coming in and I expected them to be in a rush after that. To my suprise they still took their time and did an excellent job. My over all experience was great! It’s a lokey place which is great because it’s not annoyingly packed. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing place to get your nails done. As a plus they have relaxing music and they also provide a nice little massage included in!

Went in here to get a simple manicure, came out completely unsatisfied. First off, place is small and cluttered, staff is unfriendly, and place seemed unsanitary. The woman who was working on my cuticles cut me with the machine and they were bleeding. Scares me to think who else might have got the same treatment before, and if machine was even sanitized between clients. Lastly, my nails were not painted nicely and all I was left with were bloody cuticles and unsightly nails. Would not recommend this place.

Today is my third visit. Finally, I found a place for my manicures and pedicures. I am a massage therapist using hands and oil all the time. However, my gel mani still lasts for at least four weeks which is hard to find someone does such a good job-​very thorough. The staff here always go extra miles to make sure I am happy with their work.
I went to so many places. A lot of times was a miss and hit. But it is not happening here at V & D, everyone does know their stuff. I’m very picky where I get a service. There are so many selections of color and brands for you to choose. Personally, I love O.P.I.
This place is very clean and airy. The customer service and prices are also great. Highly recommended!

This is my go-​to spot for manicures and pedicures. I once went to a different nail spa nearby and, although they did a great job, they were not as dedicated to their work as the staff at V&D is.
I always ask for Kim when I go to V&D. She is super friendly and does a great job on my nails; if I show her an image of what I want she always exceeds my expectations! The men that start your pedicure are also amazing! The staff here really cares about their customers; they are always extremely friendly and welcoming. If they find a small flaw in their work, they won’t stop until it is perfect. Sometimes the wait time is a little long but it is so worth it.
Oh, and I once got my eyebrows waxed by Kim and she did them beautifully and surprisingly painlessly.

The BEST NAIL SHOP in the city of LAWNDALE! I’ve been coming here for years and I have always got the best customer service! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Kim does the best nails and works wonders on taking out ingrown nails. If you want good service, good nail work, and affordable. This is your place!

I came here for the first time today because it I was in the neighborhood. usually I am skeptical about little salons like this one but I was not disappointed! I came in for a fill, which was $ 13. the woman did an excellent job and was very polite. overall good experience.

Okay So I went on a Sunday and they had me waiting for 30 minutes. They finally sit me down and I got a gel mani by Leslie which lasted for more than 2 weeks. However, the girl who did my pedi, was a NO NO. I don’t think she knows how to paint within the lines. Anyways, overall it was okay but I would only go back to Leslie.

Either his place changed its name or I totally missed this V & D Nail Spa signage. I totally forgot my phone in the car and man did I have some pictures to take of this experience.
First off, you walk in and you almost miss the girl behind the counter because its very cluttered, there was not a soul in there when I walked in which should have been the first sign for me to run. But, I was on a time constrained due to having plans of going on a date with my husband, so I stayed and figure i’d give them a chance.
We are at the end of May and there are Christmas decorations everywhere. I started to look around and did not see a single certification of anyone that was standing around (and there was at least 5 of them).
I picked my color (which they have a lot to choose from), sat down and started to get the water running on my feet. It was luke warm. She started to do her thing. She placed some lotion on my legs and then cleaned them. She got up and went to the back and came out with what appeared to be the same towel that was placed under warm water to place on my legs. When she finally started on my feet she took out some toilet paper to separate my toes (that was a sight to see). She did a great job painting them.
At this point, my mind was checked out. I honestly didn’t look at the prices. The pedicure was low priced and the quality was also low.

My daughter recommended this place. I was happily surprise to find a very clean and lighted place and I was immediately attended by 2 very friendly and professional male and female workers. She (Kim) played a cd and the music was relaxing and soulful. They both did a great job and I highly recommend this nail salon. I truly enjoyed the whole experience.

I have gone here several times pretty good service but very slow. I went in and asked how long (more than once) and I was told I was next. Only to find out there 3 other people waiting for a pedicure. This has happened on more than one occasion. They put your feet in water and then make u wait. Expect to be therefor at least 3 hours just for a pedi.
