Love a place like this… Local, cozy, friendly, comfortable, reasonable, AND delicious! What else is there to say. Just had the ham and Swiss croissant and zucchini bread. Now digging into caramel crack and lemon bar. Heaven!

Something to be found for everyone’s taste. Variety differs depending on time of day. They might add special items here and there, which they may post on social media. Personally, I like their caramel crack, american scones, chocolate chip cookies, and plain or nut brownies. Their croissants are good. Better than the one’s I tried at The Little Chef in Princeton. It’s great that they carry bread from Terra Momo. Saves me a trip to Princeton. They also serve a great selection of teas and coffee. Small seating area. Nice friendly staff. I know they sell cupcakes, but would love it, if they sold slices of cake.

I love this place! I’ve been all over the globe eating croissants. Hands down the best plain croissant around and easily the most amazing ham and Swiss croissant outside of France. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Simply the best baked goods in the area, hands down. Everything’s fresh and made with high quality ingredients.

Love this place. No imported cookies here. Kind of a Momofuku Milk bar vibe with a pastry called caramel crack. Ham and cheese croissants are melt in your mouth. The almond croissants are just a mouthful of good feels, crumbly topping, almond crunchies, and swirly cottony croissant innards with a shattering crispy flaky exterior. They have plain and chocolate, too. A favorite place.

I don’t know what I’ve been doing with myself, wasting so much time before finally trying The Gingered Peach. My first trip was a few weekends ago, to pick up some pastries for Easter brunch. I grabbed: cinnamon buns, blueberry scones, pain au chocolat, plain and almond croissants, and a piece of coffee cake. Every item was amazing! The whole family was impressed, and I can’t wait to go back to try more of their goods!

A co-worker recently gave me some leftover items from whatever event they had been at, from the GP. I must say, I was quite impressed. Killer chocolate-chip cookie, a delicious scone, a thick brownie, and I forget the other thing but it was also good. We’ve gotten croissants from here several times, and they are consistently good. As well as the scones — the other day a new batch of blueberry scones was still warm from the oven and wow that was yummy!

Great service and great pastries! I adore their ham and swiss croissant, which has the perfect crunch(especially if you are early enough to get it straight out of the oven) and a nice ratio of ham to swiss. They also make a wonderful lemon bar, with a shortbread bottom and actual lemon curd! This is a wonderful bakery with a pleasant atmosphere!

I did not go to this. It was my last day at a site where I worked and the boss ordered a mass amount of pasteries and my favorite hands down was the lemon curd bar. It had just the right composition of tart and sweetness to it. The other goes to the blue berry muffin and the chocolate croissant and oh gosh, they were all great! I’ll be in a sugar coma if I go there and purchase one of everything. Wonder if they have a table?

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday from this bakery! The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. They really went above and beyond to make this cake exactly perfect for us and our guests. Will definitely be using again for our next party!

Pretty darn good. The croissants are spot on with the crunch. I’d say that they’d be able to give the petite chef in princeton, my current favorite, a run for his money. their sticky bun is also very good with the right amount of crunch and goo. they make small world coffee and get breads from terra momo last i asked but they should think about making their own. Very welcome addition(my review is very late) — had been going to the village bakery that was there before it… and the swiss bakery on route 1 which is long closed. this is very different but in a very good way.

Love it! It is such a friendly and beautiful place to be. It is just what this town needed!
Unbelievable baked goods! I don’t know where to start. I had the Ham and cheese croissant, ham and Swiss cheese in the flakiest, lightest most delicious croissant outside of France! The goat cheese brownie is so decadent and perfectly balanced. The cupcakes were to die for, they have a good icing to cake ratio and taste amazing… My faves are the Samoa and the salted caramel. It smells sooo good when you walk in the door. It is such a quaint little shop which is so comfy and they have an awesome playlist too! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I will be back it’s worth the 45 minute drive for me!!!

This place is the best in the area, period. We needed a cake for my daughter’s first birthday party to serve 80+ people. I brought in a picture of a cake that we wanted it to look like and they made it look even better than the picture. It also may have been the most delicious cake that I’ve ever had. I am a big fan of butter cream cakes and this was just so thick and rich. This is my new go-to place for all things pastry. My guests were all raving and were dying to know where I got it and how much it cost. When I told them what I paid, people thought it would have cost double that(though I’ll admit I have no clue how much a cake should cost). This cake was worth every penny and then some. The ordering process was a breeze and they were very accommodating when I had to change my pick-up time at the last minute.

After they closed, I really missed the old Village Bakery that was here before. I loved their breads, I loved their pastries and just loved the place in general. When I found out that there was a new bakery reopened in the same spot, I was pretty psyched about getting in and checking it out. I’ve been a couple of times now, and I’m happy/sad. The bread is still sitting in the same spot in the corner. Maybe I’ve got warm and fuzzy memories, but I think the old ciabatta(about the only bread I order there) was a little better. That said, the ciabatta here has a good chewiness that I like, but the crust is lacking. The fancy French pastries are no more. Instead the selection is more coffeehouse favorites like scones and such. There are still croissants, which are good(especially the ham and cheese), and I really liked the olive oil cake too, but I’m missing the fancy tarts that I used to get at the old place. They’ve got lemon bars. The old place had really, really good lemon bars. I need to try that lemon bar next time. The vibe in the place is more coffee shop than bakery now. I’m not saying that they’ve got barristas and all that crap. I’m just saying that’s the vibe. Then again, it could be me and my natural aversion to coffeeshop society. 99% of Americans probably love the coffeeshop vibe. I’m the one percent. Lots of khaki wearing Range Rover types in there too bringing their vibe, but don’t get me started down that road. I ain’t in that one percent. Had the same girl behind the counter each time. I think if she tried to smile she’d get cracks in her face. First time there it was a weekend and it was fairly busy, but on a weekday morning trip, it wasn’t all that busy, and I still felt like she wanted me to get my stuff and get out of her life. She probably knew I was a fancy French pastry snob. Anyway, that ham and cheese croissant was pretty good, and I’m hungry for lemon bars too. And the leftover ciabatta made some really good croutons, and will probably work really well in my stuffing this Thanksgiving. Reason enough to go back.

My daughter and I stopped in for a late afternoon snack on the way to an appointment. Everything we had was delicious. The cinnamon bun was perfect with just the right balance between the sweet and spicy. The chocolate chip Cookie was chewy and filled with little bits of chocolate. The iced tea was perfectly brewed. I took home a Pullman loaf which tastes just like the one my mom used to buy at our local bakery back home in Oklahoma. We’ve had the cupcakes in the past and they were equally delicious. The owner is dedicated to her craft and it shows. We love the space– cozy and welcoming. Such a wonderful addition to the greater Princeton area.

Warning: do not enter with an empty stomach! I stopped in today to just get a treat for later in the day. That treat turned into several plus a loaf of bread that I had no intention of getting, that is until I saw it. To be accurate, it may have been made by Terra Momo, but was excellent nonetheless(bleu cheese/walnut) This is a cute little bakery, with a small but tasty selection, Coffee is available and there are a few tables inside to sit at. If you plan on coming, try to arrive early. Some days I get there and it’s slim pickings. But that is good for a bakery, it keeps items very fresh. Several flavors of cupcakes, and all are great. Goat cheese brownie suited for adults. Perhaps my favorite item is the caramel crack, a brioche round smothered in toffee and then baked. It should be listed as a controlled substance. 4.5 peaches!

WOW. how did I go to school in the area for 4 years and not know about the gingered peach? to say this bakery is wonderful would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. although I’ve only tried the brownie($ 2.50) and goat cheese brownie($ 3) from here, I can’t wait to go back and try everything else(I graduate in 7 days so I’m ready for the challenge). brownies are my favorite baked good/dessert and these brownies were the fudgiest, most decadent brownies I have ever had(and I’ve had triple chocolate brownies before). I’ve been on a quest my whole life to find the perfect brownie and I’ve found it here at the gingered peach! amongst the brownies, they have a huge selection of cupcakes, cinnamon buns, pain au chocolat(!!!), and other wonderful pastries. to top it all off, this bakery is CHEAP. I would pay $ 10 for a brownie that good.
