Good place for pizza. Has more options for pizza and other dishes. I think 715 is better than Limestone.

Great service! Great food! Sat on the little patio out front, ordered brunch. Seem to be scratch made and made to order. Our waitress was fun and prompt. Def recommend this place in Lawrence.

Driving back from Kansas City to Wichita with my friend we decided to stop in Lawrence for some lunch and randomly picked 715 from a google search. Boy am I glad we chose this place. It had a really cool feel to it and the food was really good. I had garlic shrimp with spaghetti and my friend had the prosciutto sandwich and then we both had the lemon tart for dessert all of which were delicious. Would love to come back and have dinner here. If you are ever in Lawrence KS give this place a try… you will not be disappointed.

Very nice décor and clean. Our friend was seated and waiting for us at a six top. I asked the waiter for a high chair as I was holding my 18 month old. I noticed he did two other things before getting my high chair. He apologized for the delay. As soon as I sat down and looked at the menu, I told him I wanted the spaghetti for my boys to split. He said that they would split it up into two plates. For a kid’s spaghetti too long later, we asked for bread to occupy my hungry children. The adults had put in their order already. Half an hour later, the spaghetti came and we served our kids immediately. Luckily my kids are not picky, the noodles were not fully cooked. It’s like eating twizzlers. But the kids were happy which is all that matters. Our food came and I was not impressed with my hamburger. Not enough meat for a large bun. When it came time for the check, we told him one check. There were three adults and two children. He somehow understood one check as putting one adult on one check then putting the rest one one. It made our situation awkward as our visiting friend wanted to treat us to lunch. I think his name was Alek. For my drive from KC, it wasn’t worth it.

Now how cute is this place? Located in downtown Lawrence, 715 came highly recommended to me so during my recent visit I stopped by for Happy Hour. Aptly named, Happy Hour offers up a wide range of food and drink for a fraction of the price(btw the prices are already reasonable so this is a real treat!) I sat at the bar and the bartender was quick to suggest her favorite pizza and house red. okay. «When in Rome», I always say and she didn’t steer me wrong. The soprressta pizza was delicious and for $ 7.00 was clearly enough food for two but don’t tell anyone but I ate it al myself(had a flight out and you know how airport food is!) The house red ran me just $ 4 and was equally as good! The staff is well informed and clearly like what they do. Next time I’m in downtown Lawrence, you can bet where I will be!

Overpriced, mediocre food served by pretentious servers who expect good tips simply because they work in a place that serves overpriced food. Drinks suck, stick to beer or something they don’t have to make. I do not understand the five star reviews, unless you think McDonalds is four?

I really enjoyed this place. I went on a Sunday for brunch, and they had bloody Mary’s and mimosas for $ 5, so I got a bloody Mary which was great! I have ordered countless bloody Mary’s, so this is saying something. I got the carrot bisque for an appetizer which was served cold and had many layers of flavor. I got the potatoes roesti for my entrée, and they were out of the smoked salmon so I substituted pan fried salmon, which was great! I saw that other people have made comments on this restaurant frequently being out of ingredients, but if you look on their wall it says they source their foods from local farms, so that is a product of receiving produce from smaller businesses; they may be low on stock or be seasonal. However, by buying local(and as a patron, eating local) you are reducing carbon emissions, which is better for the environment, and you’re supporting local businesses which is important for the economy and community. But I digress, I really liked all the unique contributions to the potatoes roesti. When I saw shoestring potatoes on the menu, I wasn’t enchanted because I thought of cheap places that give you those instead of fries, but when it was served it looked like a nest almost, and the manchengo cheese was embedded in that, which was delicious. Great presentation, pesto and balsamic were flavorful and well-balanced. Also, seasoned well so I didn’t need to salt or pepper it. Would definitely order this again!

I love custom cocktails and the bartenders here have it down to a science. Loved the ambience as well as the kale salad and smoked trout crostini I had. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Great unique dishes. Try the trout Benedict and house Boody Mary with Serrano Spice. Eat at the bar overlooking the open kitchen and it will be hard to pick a favorite dish. Go mid afternoon or off peak or you will not be able to get in.

Bar none, some of the best food in Lawrence. Been here twice… once for a celebratory dinner and once for brunch. Honestly, not sure if one was better than the other. Dinner is a touch on the pricey side, probably a great place to take your parents if they are in town. Brunch pricing wasn’t bad; definitely worth the extra couple bucks. Me and my friend split a few things because we wanted to eat everything on the menu(for brunch). I highly recommend the eggs Benedict and the avocado toast. Their bloody mary is offered in a range of spiciness… I ordered it «between medium and spicy» and that’s exactly what I got.

Came here last weekend — solid food in an intimate setting. The décor is very nice — it’s dimly light with tons of small candles surrounding the room. There’s a lot of exposed brick and overall the place has a very modern, farmhouse kind of vibe. The food was good but there were no screamers here. The penne ragu was our favorite, a very standard bolognese-esque dish. Also got the duck ravioli but as others have pointed out, the sauce was a bit weird-tasting and way too sweet. Tried the whipped feta and that too missed the mark. We had the mortadella and surryano by suggestion from our waitress — the surryano had a pretty interesting smoky flavor to it.

We were in town for an event on campus and decided to try 715 from looking at the menu online. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and the food was AMAZING! We highly recommend the date romesco and the smoked trout crustinies for appetizers. The kale salad was delicious and the Cedar River strip steak with chimichura fingerling potatoes was to die for! Have to come back to Lawrence just so we can eat here again!

Not your typical Lawrence college grub — 715 is a nice alternative when you’re wanting something a little fancier from Mass street than a taco or burger. My husband and I met a friend from New York in Lawrence for dinner, he is a foodie and I knew 715 would not disappoint. We happened to catch the tail end of happy hour by accident and were delighted to see the great selections on the happy hour menu. Excellent cocktails and 715 quality food at low prices until 5:30. Everything we had was incredible but some major stand outs at our table were the Rosemary Flat Bread, Rabbit Gnocci Ragu and Chicken Confit with Crispy Skin. This will always be one of my favorite stops in Lawrence!

Meatball app was barely Luke warm. $ 5 for a club soda? Duck ravioli was meh. Really disappointing experience.

The atmosphere, location, drinks and appetizers at 715 have always been good, and are the reason I’ve visited numerous times. The entrees, while cleverly put together and locally sourced have always been sort of disappointing. I still like this place and will stop in for drinks and appetizers, but would likely eat my entrée somewhere else.

I’m not from Lawrence, or Kansas, and I’ve got to say don’t equate Kansas with haute cuisine. No more. This is a great establishment with very attentive but not pushy wait staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. I had the garlic prawns but every dish delivered to our family table was tasty, especially the vegetables, which were almost better than the meat. That’s a high compliment. Definitely don’t skip dessert either. The peanut butter mouse pie was sublime. Finally I discovered a new favorite beer here, the Belgian sour. Need to find a way of getting this back on the west coast.

Good visit, get a cocktail and salad. Skip the ravioli and enjoy some of their other fine dishes. Read on for details. I’ve been to 715 several times and the service is always what you would expect from a nicer restaurant, good. You can’t go wrong selecting from the cocktail menu so take your time reviewing it and select the drink right for you. We started with two salads, pecan and the ‘715’(house salad). Both were two to three times the normal appetizer salad size so they can be shared if you’d prefer a smaller portion. Next we tried the Rosemary flat bread. It feeds 2 – 4, nothing spectacular but the Rosemary does come through and its worth getting as a bread item for the meal. We both tried ravioli dishes, one spinach one duck. The spinach had a nice cream sauce, but the sauce with the duck ravioli was way to sweet. The worst part of these dishes was that there was hardly any filling in the ravioli. A penny sized filling for a 1 ½ inch ravioli(see picture). For my taste if I order a filled pasta I’m mostly doing so for the filling otherwise I would just get spaghetti.

715 is really what it’s all about when it comes to a restaurant. Their downtown location is perfect, and the natural light and energy from Mass St. shines into the urban feeling interior. Their impressive menu features many farm to table options, loads of options without being overloading, and a breakfast/brunch on the weekends that is worthy of a Saturday AND Sunday visit. Over the years, my girlfriend/fiancée/wife have frequented 715 when in Larry because it’s slightly upscale without a hint of pretentiousness. We’ve done full dinners here, which were phenomenal. We’ve done cocktails and a cheese plate, which might even be my favorite thing as it allows someone to hit a few spots on Mass in a sort of «progressive dinner» fashion. The first time I had brunch here, I had to be rolled out. I mean, they have a baguette with fresh churned butter, nutella, house-made sausage and house-cured bacon, on and on and on. On top of their regular breakfast menu, there are loads of specials during brunch. While some places occasionally seem to hurry through a brunch, that’s not the case here. The chefs show off some new offerings, the delicious coffee keeps pouring and you’re encouraged to linger with friends. If the weather cooperates, see about getting a spot on their small outdoor patio and watching everyone go by. That rule applies to all spots on Mass St. that have a patio, but are certainly highlighted here. The staff is always friendly, the bar is on point, and it’s quickly ascending to a top spot in Lawrence and even in the KC area for me.

Loving this place more. They’ve really developed into a great spot for brunch, lunch, fun dinner, or just to have a drink. Can’t go wrong. Everything from pizza to a wonderful pork chop Or homemade pasta. My kids love coming here and my husband and I like to have dates here. Definately worth the time. Your tastebuds will love it!
