Alex’s House of Pizza

I LOVE their pizza and tacos and my oldest daughter loves their Syrian wraps. Honestly though, I’ve gotten hollow mozzarella sticks and mushy, flat, buffalo chicken tenders, so I haven’t further explored their menu. I’ll keep getting their delicious pizza though.

Sometimes the food is really good. Other times, it’s terrible.

Went here tonight for the first time. We didn’t order pizza, so can’t comment on that. We got a steak bomb, a chicken finger dinner with fries, a chicken wing dinner with rice pilaf, a grilled veggie wrap, and an order of seasoned fries. The dinners each came with a small side salad and garlic bread, which was yummy. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their meal. We ordered delivery, and they were very quick for a Saturday night. Prices were very reasonable, and customer service was fine.
The only complaint we had was the complete lack of salt on the french fries. The seasoned fries were fine, but the ones that came with the chicken finger dinner were completely bland and needed to be salted.

I was looking for a new place to order lunch from, and Alex’s was the first one that came up that had an online menu (in regards to proximity to where I work). I ordered the Marinated Chicken Dinner.
The Pros: The chicken itself was good: well seasoned, fairly moist, and lots of it.
The Cons: The delivery itself took over an hour. For the last 15 minutes the driver kept calling me asking me where my building was (out address is listed on the outside of our building). The french fries that were in the dinner were luke-​warm at best and had NO flavor. The «salad» that came with the meal consisted of lots of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and one slice of cucumber. I didn’t dare try the dressing. The «garlic bread» that came with the dinner was merely a sub roll, cut in half, and covered in butter and garlic.
After eating this meal I don’t feel full (I didn’t eat the majority of the fries and salad) but I do feel uncomfortable/​gross. Although the chicken had good flavor, overall the meal was un-​flavorful and boring. I will NOT be ordering from this place again.
