I used this company in 2014. I showed the designer specific pics of the look I wanted as well as types of plants. Lots of wasted energy on my part. The design came back with NOTHING I really liked. The designer apologized & came back with a more appealing design, but lots of time was lost b/c he didn’t listen to me the 1st time. The crew walked off the job one day so one of them could get his license renewed & left many plants in pots sitting in summer sun on the west side of my house as well as tools & plywood covering my grass. The designer did come & clean up the mess & placed the plants in the shade, but only after I called him. He had to water in all the plants as well. What a mess I could go on & on, but, bottom line is I don’t recommend this company.

We’ve used them for drainage issues & to design our yard. When we were finally ready to bite the bullet on the price tag for the design they never called back. The drainage work was fine but I’m really disappointed with them never calling back. Now I’m looking for a new company.

first never hire a designer without asking for a portfolio; my boyfriend hired their designer Charlotte as a bday present for me, and I didn’t think to ask… biggest mistake; she came over talked to me; I showed her parts of my yard I liked a lot and told her what I was looking for. long story short, she came back with a plan that looked like what you might put in a shopping center – nothing that fit my home or current landscaping I liked, and she totally missed a crucial piece about having a limestone wall in front, and used landscape bricks which don’t fit my yard at all. When I told her that, she said she didn’t recall that. I then told her where there was a wall she could even take a picture of at the end of my block. So she said she would and would rework her presentation. Well I didn’t know my boyfriend already paid her after the first delivery of work. And what she sent me after that was the picture of the wall I told her I had intended for her to design, and then she mocked up a wall on a green background and did’t even use limestone again… and she just emailed it to me. I sent her an email back advising how disappointing that was in my view for a designer’s work – she did not even answer. Long story short; horrible design person.

Recently we found it necessary to seek help with drainage problems in the lawn. One area always stood wet and swampy even after an extended dry spell. after soliciting multiple bids, with quite a wide range of prices and ideas for conquering our problem, we opted for Troy and his crew at All N1. He gave a list of choices on how we wanted to proceed with the job at hand. He has several ideas on what to do, depending on how much we wanted to spend. His bid was not the lowest that we had collected, but he seemed more in tune with what we wanted to accomplish, and is in my opinion, a «green minded» person. No I don’t mean his brain is green nor his hair… but he was careful about keeping our overall environment unharmed. First off they cut the sod over where we has decided to have French drain tubes buried in the yard. The sod was carefully laid to the side and was re-installed when they were done. The«mess factor» was minimal. Instead of looking like we had just had major surgery on the lawn with back hoes and hydraulic equipment, it really didn’t look much different at all. Reusing the material that is removed in other areas, and projects was their idea. recycling outgoing material into a raised garden was also suggested to keep the trash factor to a minimum. In the 4 days they were on the property, upon leaving for the day, the yard was completely picked up and the equipment that was left here was stacked neatly in the driveway. I appreciated the fact that they didn’t try to kill all the grass in the yard by running all over it or stacking things on the lawn for it to die under the weight. And there was no littering of cigarette packages or Sonic cups from their lunch, as has happened in the past, when I had workers in the yard. Giving us a package deal, they also disassembled and rebuilt a retaining wall, that was starting to tilt and separate, next to the house. The new wall, was given way more attention to stability and drainage, than the previous installer, that originally put it up. It stands level and symmetrical, which it never did before. And gives the house a more expensive look. Pain– stakingly restacking the old bricks on pallets for us to reuse for another project. Craftsmanship shows… and is visible if you look for it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these folks for your landscaping, and drainage needs. Like I said, they may not be the lowest bid, but as I have come to learn as I age. You get what you pay for!
