Nice helpful comic book shop in a really unique building! Go in the main entrance and to the left door :) pretty small but have a lot of main issues and nice selection of cheap back issues.

I stopped in for the first time on Sunday to pick up a specific book. An event was taking place — Magic: The Gathering, going by the signs — so the small space was filled up with people and tables, making it inconvenient to browse.
I was greeted immediately by an employee when I walked in, who promptly found me the item I was looking for amidst the chaos. Quite helpful.

While I am not the most qualified person to write this review (I am not that into comics) I feel obligated to write about Astrokitty Comics.
I am only into one comic… Buffy Season 8. I’m probably the only person that bought it, but they always kept it in stock and set aside for me.
The staff is incredibly friendly, non-​pretentious, and ready to help you out! They have tons of comics, graphic novels, action figures, etc.
Astrokitty also offers different fun get-​togethers. My favorite being drink-​and-​draw. Drink and Draw is at the Jackpot Saloon every now and then. They have a DJ that plays inspiring music. You sit at a table or the bar and you drink… and you draw! You can draw whatever you want, but there is always a theme contest (ex. pirates, the best president) if you get there early enough.
Enjoy Astrokitty… I know I did!
