Conroy’s Pub

Neighborhood bar. Great drinks specials. We like to watch KU games at this place. There are a few video games, like big buck hunter and pin ball. Kids like to play those games when they give up on KU bball. ;) I like their wings. Otherwise average bar food. Bartenders are my favorite!
They have a large side room that’s great for meetings or private gatherings. Could probably seat 50 in that room. Has large TV for viewing party.

Conroy’s has really good food. Great burgers, chicken fingers and the catfish is great. Probably 4 star, but added star for having Busch and Busch Light.

My family has been coming to Conroy’s for years and years and years… at least 20. There were times when we would go to Kaspar’s — its old name — once a week. The food was OK, and, most importantly, it was CHEAP.
I’m a lot older now, and a little more discerning. Yet when I went to get my hair cut last weekend, you know the place I wanted to have lunch? Good ol’ Conroy’s. At 2 p.m., my friend and I had the run of the place. Service was good, food was good, prices were good, ambience was… well, it’s what it’s always been, which is to say dank and a little dreary, but what you’d expect from a bar and grill in a strip mall.
(And I realize I made it sound like I just rediscovered this place after not going for years. That’s not the case at all. My family still goes all the time.)
I’ve never — and I mean NEVER — gotten anything other than a burger, fries and soda, but I hear other things are good.

This is a neighborhood bar. Great for chilling out with your friends, playing some trivia, and chatting with the bartender. The focus here is your friends, maybe some poker, maybe some trivia, but not on an eclectic drink menu or cutting-​edge ambiance. It’s a great place to grab a few drinks with friends and hang out on the porch.
