KJHK 90.7 FM

the biggest fans and boosters are the laundry list of former djs and staff.
i have no doubt that kjhk USED TO BE good or maybe even great at some point. i have heard it get gradually worse over the last 9 years. dumb djs talking when they have nothing say, urging people to call in for no reason, and playing bad music. the internet has completely demystified stuff like college radio as well as lame record store clerks. people can google bands and stream stations online. as the audience gets more sophisticated, kjhk is still its old tired self trying to pretend like its still the 90s and college radio still matters. it CAN matter, but not in its present format.
