Just a great local business! Great prices and better service. They will test your battery and alternator and if a new battery is needed will have it replaced and you out the door in minutes.
No more expensive than a chain store, but with better service. Shop local!

I needed a car battery and — luckily — they had one in stock (sometimes smaller stores have less supply). I drove over there and by the time I was done paying and chatting with the cashier (about 15 minutes) the battery was installed and I was able to leave! Everyone was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and polite as I hit them with a ton of car-​and-​car-​battery-​ignorant questions.
The battery is their generic brand with a 6 year warranty (as opposed to the crazy high-​tech stuff you’ll find online) and that sits just fine with me. I’m sure if I have any trouble they’ll replace the battery without a hassle.
By the way — the installation was FREE!

This place is great! They gave me a great discount and did not charge me for labor!!! If your car battery needs replacing, go here and not to your mechanic.
They also have a wide variety of other batteries… if you need something special

Very impressed with this automotive battery store. I took my scooter battery in after several attempts at jump starting it with a car battery and using a trickle charger at home. I thought it wouldn’t hold a charge anymore and had already given up. I took it into Lawrence Battery to get a replacement, but the employee stopped me: «my job is to sell you a new battery, but I’d rather try and make this one work first if we can.»
$ 3.50 later, they handed me a fully recharged battery. At least $ 60 saved due to their honesty. Thanks!
