Riverside House of Pizza

Love the food always good… my only con is they do take a long with with delivery. if you order make sure you’re prepare to wait a while. maybe longer than they say it will be delivered but it’s definitely delicious it arrives

In my never ending quest for authentic Greek pizza I found myself trying Riverside House of Pizza. The first thing I see is an employee who stared at me without ever greeting me. He finally inquired what I wanted and I ordered a pepperoni pizza. He then relayed the order, in Spanish, to someone in the other room. At that point I wasn’t hopeful for authentic Greek pizza. After a few minutes a guy sweating quite a bit (it was very hot in there) came out wiping his brow with his arm. He then proceeded to make the pizza without gloves on. I was very hungry so I ate the pizza hoping the oven sterilized it. I have to say the sauce was good with a little spiciness, the cheese was caramelized and the pizza wouldn’t have been bad except the crust was paper thin. It should have been at least 4x thicker then that. If I lived closer and if the help was more hygienic I might go again, but I don’t and they aren’t so never again.

NAYYYY! The pizza looked amazing when I opened it but the taste is awful. Its salty, Dry, And weird. The texture feels legit like stale bread. The cheese is hard. And tge sauce is so salty. Im very disappointed. I was really looking forward to some bomb ass pizza too. The wing dings is ehhh. Cant say its the best. Waste of my money. Now this pizza will sit here until someone feels like eating it. I usually would eat 2 – 3 slices but I just cant force myself to finish my one slice. Whoever wrote good reviews on here. July-​er!!!

I have been ordering from Riverside for many years. The food is always fresh and served hot. Everyone has favorites from different food locations and for me I enjoy their pizza and hot wings the best. They are not located in the best place but they are always friendly and attentive. I think of all the years I ordered from there they messed up one time and were very quick to correct the mistake. I do wish they served better salads but thats a minor issue.

After waiting 35 minutes for a 20 minute order, I watched an employee stick his hands in his pants before handling my food.

Tonight was our first time ordering from Riverside, and it definitely won’t be our last! Their pizza is INCREDIBLE… The crust is thin and super crispy with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings, and is surprisingly non-​greasy. It is seriously the best pizza I have had in a long time… SO yummy!
Delivery took about 1 hour and 20 minutes, but it’s a busy Friday night, so it was expected to take a little longer. The delivery guy was all smiles and super friendly, and apologized for taking so long. He also complimented us on having a nice kitchen, so he earned himself a few extra points. :)

Riverside Pizza is tucked away in the back corner of a small strip plaza with a light blue roof along the southern banks of the Merrimack River. This strip plaza is hard to miss since it also has an adult bookstore and a lingerie shop, grrrrowwll!!. The parking lot situation is very tight and crowded, so take it easy. No pun intended, so onto the Unilocal.
On my way through Lawrence, I stopped in here for a quick lunch very recently. Riverside Pizza is a very casual order at the counter place with table seating for eating in. The pizza offered here is a thin crust (by the slice or pie 10″ & 16″). Besides pizza, they offer hot & cold subs (9″-12″-18″), pasta, salads, appetizers, kabobs, steak tips, gyros, and cold bottled and can drinks. Several specials are offered including 2 cheese slices and can of soda for $ 3.80 plus tax during lunch everyday.
When I arrived here, a fresh hot cheese pizza was just coming out of the oven, so it was great timing! I ordered the 2 cheese slices lunch special with a can of Diet Coke for 4 bucks and change, which was ready immediately and served piping hot. I did let the pizza sit for about 5 minutes to allow the melted mozzarella cheese to settle. The cheese pizza slices were above average with a light crispy thin crust (a burnt bubble on one slice) and the right amounts of cheese and sauce, overall decent tasting pizza.
