Slowwwwww and rude every time i have been here. One time i waited at the speaker in the drive thru for 10 minutes then drove up to the window and honked my car horn then a person came to the window and claimed they didnt have a headset on. And tonight waited at the drive thru for 10 minutes to be rudely told corn dogs would be a while and was upset when i agreed to wait for them. Do not eat here its not like the other sonic’s

Went here with two of my friends, the service was awful. This Sonic was understaffed and the employees went out to say hi to their friends, ignoring customers waiting to order and pay. I also saw a man wait in his car for the drive-in service and then eventually get out of his car because he received no service in the five minutes he sat there. If there’s one thing to be said it is to avoid this Sonic. Food was mediocre. Went back for a second time and they forgot part of our order and also said they were closed an hour earlier than usual, we waited in the drive-thru line with six other cars before they had an employee come out and say they were closed.

IDIOTIC, incompetent«staff»…if I could give them zero stars I certainly would. When someone finally decided to take our order– which we had to repeat, word by word, about ten times to a guy who seemed unable to comprehend anything said to him– our order was completely wrong. We asked for a receipt as I suspected we were paying too much. We were way overcharged and when I asked another carhop if he could correct our order he said he «didn’t understand» what I was saying. I went inside with our food to correct it. There was no one at the inside counter. After waiting for someone to appear, a slow and clearly annoyed young girl came out and took our order back, reappeared with identical food after 15 mins of me waiting and handed it to me along with the SAME receipt. She then turned to go back into the kitchen without a word to me. I stopped her and asked for a refund of our order because we were way overcharged, and only wanted to pay for what we ordered… and our food was still not right. After messing with the register for five minutes she opened it and handed me $ 4 cash. We paid with a credit card. I said so, and asked her to refund the card… she said she couldn’t refund credit cards. When I asked her for a receipt for the refund, she said she couldn’t give me one. WHATDOYOUMEAN? These people have no idea how to run a business. Is there even a manager back there??? Not to mention, the food was cold and my hot dog was drowning in relish. Gross. Do NOT stop here!

To everyone who is complaining about awful food, please read this first: This place has such potential, but whomever the District Manager/General Manager/Regional Managers are, they throw it away just to make money, and their slack management has lead to the firing of so many valuable people and lead to the massive wait times and improperly made food. The turnover rate is high, which leads to undertrained staff, who are then chastised for attempting to do their job when they make a slight mistake. In addition, there were several people who are underpaid, and when asking to be properly paid(according to their responsibilities or title), are fired. There have been numerous complaints made to the general/district/regional manager, but because they can’t or won’t do anything, this place is going steadily downhill and has every making for a lawsuit or two(for things like wrongful termination and harassment). This may not seem to relate, but when I go there to eat, it takes them a minimum of 15 minutes to bring me my food(dine in) because they are under staffed and under trained. For a fast food restaurant, this is atrocious. I write this in the hopes that someone will hear and someone at corporate will help this place out, because the ownership of this particular location isn’t willing to.

When I saw this Sonic being built, I was so excited, but my hopes have been dismally dashed. They set a new sub-standard for SLOW, and mediocre food and drinks not up to Sonic standards. I’m afraid thi mismanaged drive-in will not last long. So sad…

Worst Sonic I have ever been to. Super slow. Pulled in and pushed the button to order and got no response. Waited and waited but no response. Went through the drive-through and again waited. Food wasn’t worth the wait.

I started a new job in this area and was excited I would be near a Sonic(I grew up in Texas, where they’ve been for decades). I wanted to like this place and make it my lunch go-to soo bad, but after about 10 visits I lost hope. Each time I had extensive waits and/or «red light issues», although there would be only 1 – 3 cars there. Each time I ask for iced tea, and each time they say they only had green tea. The food is typical Sonic food(which is good), but the long waits are unlike anything I’ve experienced at the Sonics of the South. I think a main reason for the waits is that they seem to be consistently understaffed. The staff try but there is often only 1 – 2 people working. Today is the day that I decided I’ll never go back. I ordered apple slices and noticed they were gelatinous, I looked at the package and they were expired.

Arrived on a Friday evening at about 11:45 and pressed the button. After about 15 the button was cleared by the cashier and nobody answered us. We pushed the button again and it was cleared immediately. We started to back out and made eye contact with the cashier inside. Pulled back in and pressed the button again and the lady came on and said they were closed. Friday night hours are listed as 7a-2a, but even if they closed at midnight, we arrived 15 mins before that! Outrageous, the other reviews about this location are spot on. This place should have its franchise agreement revoked. We went to Denny’s instead!

Super slow and not the smartest people working here. First time I came they took forever(20 minutes) to answer the button and when I looked inside no one was in there but the workers. Outside there was only one other car that was there before me. Service was horrible but the food was fine. My second visit was today. After waiting at least 5 minutes for the car in front of me it was finally my turn. I had to once again wait 5 more minutes for the lady to take my order. I said that I wanted a strawberry real fruit slush and she didn’t respond. Then after I asked if she was still there she asked if I wanted a strawberry milkshake… After correcting her she told me to pull up without even knowing what size I wanted. Very frustrating and not worth the wait.

Horrible Sonic — zero stars if I could! I’ve been here twice(should’ve learned my lesson the first time) but I thought I’d give it another try regardless. The first time I went, we pulled up to a stall and my friend and I choose everything ahead of time. I then pushed the button. It lit up, and stayed lit for what seemed to be 25 minutes. I looked over and noticed that the light was out! They cleared my status from inside. I pressed it again, more wasted time went by and they once again — cleared the light and didn’t respond. I couldn’t figure out why they kept doing it, the place had 3 cars on the drive up lane and only my car in the stall. I decided to go in to see what’s going on and the girl at the counter said to go back and they would be right with me — meanwhile the drive up customers are ordering and receive their food? I go back to the car, wait a bit more and soon she asked if she could help me. I place my order, telling her very basic items(no special orders)… but when she repeated my order back it was not what I had asked for. After the 3rd attempt, she had finally received my order correctly and I paid at the stall using my card. During the wait, I was wondering if they would spit in our food. 15 minutes pass and the bellhop rushes out to my car, he hands me my order and takes off back inside. The food was just decent — nothing great, but the service was unorganized. Tonight I revisited this restaurant on 9÷13÷15. I decided that I was less then amused by playing the«let’s clear the button light game» with them, and decided to just drive up to the drive thru speaker this time. Immediately I noticed a makeshift computer printed sign which was taped over the speaker saying«when ready to order please say hello». I said hello and the(hispanic) male taking my order tells me that the cook called out because he’s sick and so only drinks are being served?! What the heck is going on with this place? Did they forget to pay the gas bill or something? What place only has ONE cook? Where is the management? Where is the maintenance? Where is the owner of this franchise? Completely unprofessional. I’m done coming to this establishment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I been coming here for the past 8 months and this is the first time i see so many negative reviews on one same place when ive never had not one bad experience and, I’m a tough Unilocaler! ;-) The guy thats in the drive thru window most of the time is pretty nice and helpful I always get fast service and the food is very good! The only thing is the slushies which is awesone with all the flavors they offer but dry up after 3 sips, I wish they were more like Dunkin’s Coolatas… When you have different Chicken sandwiches to choose fron then you have, Hotdogs, Burgers, popcorn chicken, even Steak and cheese. Sides like onion rings, tots, and then they have there breakfast menu throughout the whole day, thats alot of variety compared to most spots where its a «this or that» type of option.

Wanted to try a sonic so tried here and won’t be coming back … Waited in car after pushing button for 20 minutes then gave up and went inside to wait even more . Pros: food was decent and didn’t seem to take long Cons: took 20 minutes outside and 10 minutes inside to just get order in, inside was dirty, and cashier was unsure of questions that they should know

One word for this place: Ridiculous. I read each and every review but decided to take my chances since I love Sonic and thought maybe the others were just exaggerating… I was sadly mistaken. The run down: — COLDFOOD — snappy service — long wait time… but I felt sorry for those at the pull up Windows, I watched them wait for about 20minutes without even being aknowledged –wrong drink order. A simple drink ?? –mediocre tasting food… how does that even happen at a chain restaurant? This sonic is a fail.

I agree with most of the other reviewers. Someone from corporate needs to step in here pretty quick. I just went here for my first time. There was one person in front of me waiting to order. After 5 – 7 minutes the car in front of me finally ordered. It took another 5 – 7 minutes for someone to take my order and then after an additional 17 minutes of waiting for food I finally drove away empty handed. Way to have an advertising campaign directed towards me for 10 years straight without a Sonic within 100 miles. Then finally build one near me and I STILL can’t even try it?
