I had a custom-​built chair re-​upholstered by the owner.
It was pricey (mostly because of the fabric we chose), but given the QUALITY of the work, it was worth EVERY PENNY.

I needed a mooring cover or cockpit cover made for my 1988 21 foot boat. I called 4 places. John’s price was the lowest and he seemed to be the most informed and caring of the 4. I usually take the highest price to try and get the best quality, but there was something about him that I really liked. I showed up to drop my boat off to have the work done and was surprised at how busy John was. He had either 4 or 5 other people working there already, and it was just before 8:00 in the morning. The place is crazy busy. The best part is when I picked up my boat. The custom work he did is so professional and so precise… the cover fits like it came with the boat. All the stitching, the hemming is perfect… and all of the snaps line up. He made little custom flairs in the cover where it had to go around corners and he made a custom 4″ snap attachment in the center where it snaps on to a prop pole to keep the cover raised in the center. It’s a 4″ round plastic vent, that we had not even discussed, which will allow the air in but not the water. Stitches is the only place I will ever get work done now and forever. John is an old school, ultra talented craftsman. Do not hesitate. Take your stitching upholstery jobs to John at «Stitches».
