King’s Wok is the place to go when you get a hankering for Chinese food. I highly suggest that you make it take out as this family run bistro doesn’t have a wait staff and stays so busy with takeout orders you tend to be ignored. It only has four tables in a strip mall setting and they are usually sticky. That said, the food is very good. I have been eating here for over a year and it has not failed me yet. I highly recommend the wonton soup, hot and sour soup(you can tell them how spicy you want it), mushroom egg foo young, hot tea, lo mein, spring rolls, and anything sweet and sour. The fried rice is yellow, which I am assuming is from turmeric, and I prefer soy sauce in my fried rice but my daughter says it’s good. It’s owned and run by a local family so at any given time a table will be held by the younger kids doing homework and I find that endearing. The elder child has started answering the phone and he can be kind of brisk. I obviously come here often and it’s the best by far in lawrenceburg.
