You got a 50 50 shot at personality or pain in the ass. As someone with no record and a friendly personality I don’t expect to he spoken down to or treated with disrespect.

Ann and I were privileged to participate in a wonderful event today. We volunteered to assist the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department’s fundraiser at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA). This event happened simultaneously at all Krispy Kremes on the north side, and three of them are located inside Gwinnett. Each site was manned by sworn officers, some of whom sat on the roof, and by Sheriff’s Academy Explorer scouts, who were the most remarkable young people we’ve been around in a long time. In charge of this activity was Deputy Bettina Thornhill, an exceptional public servant who has the respect of her scouts and has the best interests of the people of Gwinnett County uppermost in her mind. We came home tonight tired, happy that over $ 1500 was raised at this location today, and in awe of the dedication that these young people and Dpty. Thornhill are bringing to bear for SOGA by manning their post from 6am. to 11PM on Friday, Saturday, and tomorrow. Thank you for the fine public spirited department, Sheriff Conway!
