I only come to this Kroger for gas. The gas is always extremely cheap, and on top of that, kroger customers get three cents off! Since gas is always really cheap here, the only bad thing is that there’s always too many people. I usually get lucky and come right when someone is about to leave. This gas station has about 10 stations if I’m not mistaken. Cheap gas! Maybe you’ll run into me if you fill up your gas here often~ that’s how often I fill up my tank!

It’s okay for produce and some of the managers specials. Do not visit the deli… I got a sample of Boars Head ovengold chicken that tasted like mold.

This store is much improved from the past few years. The parking lot used to be littered with little drug baggies and inside the store was a mess. More recently I wrote to management about the slow service at the customer service counter because even if you just wanted to buy a lottery ticket or return something, you had to wait in line behind all the Western Union customers because for some inexplicable reason there was only one person behind the counter. Shortly after my complaint, I noticed the store started putting two people behind the counter to speed things up. I acknowledge their improvements, but the reason I can’t give them higher than three stars is because occasionally I can’t even buy gas without someone trying to sell me me something. In fact just today I went to this store to fill up my tank, but immediately turned around when I saw those same people were out there trying to sell people some car wash product. When I’m buying gas I would prefer not to be solicited to purchase something else especially when I’m already dropping between $ 60 and $ 70 to fill up my car. Also when I’m filling up I do not want to talk to anyone; I just want to swipe my card, fill up and leave and I don’t want anything that someone is peddling. Just leave me alone. I ended up going to the other Kroger on Steve Reynolds and even though I paid 4 cents more per gallon, at least I wasn’t harassed. If Kroger would stop allowing these people to peddle their products while people are buying gas and maybe I will bump this place up to four stars.

About two months ago, new and dynamic management was brought in to this store. Before I knew of the new management, I saw a lot of improvements going on. I love the pharmacists here and with new management, I’m shopping here more and more. I expect to update this store in another couple of months with a higher rating.

This is a smaller Kroger, but it typically has everything I need, and it is typically a little more affordable than the competitors around. I’ve never had to take any produce or meat products back, and they try to keep their lanes moving. Thee parking lot can be interesting and you may be solicited by people with flyers regularly, but inside it’s a fairly clean store… nothing sticky, nothing smelly, and yea, that makes me a fan.
