The restaurant inside the store is as authentic as it gets if you know what to order. I don’t know of a Latin/​Mexican place that’s better in the area, that’s why I go nearly every week for Tacos or their specials

My friend, Julia Mendes, and I passed by here one day because Julia and I both LOVE hispanic candy and food. We first came here to just buy some Candy but ended up also buying Chamoyadas! we have always wanted to try chamoyadas and we finally found a place close by that sells them. Since it was our first experience with chamoyadas, we weren’t too sure about the taste. First off, I didn’t quite like the hicima and the mango ice cream was way too creamy and just ended up tasting like milk. I loved the candy stick though and the chamoy sauce and it also had fresh mangos which was really nice. Overall, it was a nice place and the chamoyada was okay, but of course it was my first chamoyada, so not that sure what a good chamoyada taste like. Probably won’t come back for chamoyada but definitely for the candy and fresh drinks besides chamoyada! :)

La Victoria Butcher Shop & Grocery Store is one of those small businesses were the local Latin community goes for groceries not found in your typical Kroger or Publix.
The store is well kept and very neat inside. The meats & seafoods are very reasonably priced. BONUS — The butchers will season any meat you purchase which is a service I REALLY love, especially when grilling flank steaks. They also have a small restaurant in the back of the store where they grind their own corn for house-​made tortillas and tamales. It won’t blow you away, but it tastes VERY authentic. The restaurant menu offers a variety of meats. The pork is especially good here as well as the huevos rancheros. The side order of rice & beans is so good it rivals Popeye’s.
Lots of ethic candies and treats for my kids too. One item we have grown very fond of is a fat frozen popsicle made by Paneteria La Mexicana called BOLIS. The Lime flavor is soooooooo addictively good on a hot day. We’ve also tried the creamier egg nog and strawberry flavors and like them as well (though not nearly as much as the lime).
They have probably the greatest selection of corn tortillas ever. I can never find my favorite brand in other stores, but they have them in abundance here. I would say there’s about 12 brand varieties to choose from, but I recommend the El Milagro brand corn tortillas. They are so good when making home made tacos or fajitas. My favorite use for these tortillas are egg & black bean tacos with diced flank steak & yellow rice OR mixing torn pieces of the tortilla into a Mexican style omlette with chorizo and salsa.
THE VERDICT
Just writing about the food here makes me so hungry I may need to stop for lunch or pic up some supplies for dinner. It makes me wanna put on a sombrero and serape and dance in cool boots! I will be henceforth known as El Chocolatte!
Reasonable prices, amazing meats, fresh fruits, friendly service and super clean interior makes me want to scream
