Oh my god this was the worst massage ever. Some of their staff is okay but if you get the wrong one… oh boy.

This is my second time at this location. The first was horrific!!! To the point the manager gave me a free half an hour, as compensation. I went back today, and again I was not pleased! The massuese seemed amateur! He spoke a LOT about what could or should be done, but did nothing! My massage started late and ended early! It was just not good! I was able to use my credit, and the front desk people are nice… But I WILLNOTEVER return to this location! I’ll stick with the therapist at my regular location. If you know what a good massage feels like DONOT go here!

I came in for an hour massage because I had been having shoulder and neck issues. DW was very thorough in deep tissue. While it was painful at times, it was worth it in the long run. Very exceptional customer service. They cared about my wellness. Had great deals for monthly members. I would definitely come back. Location 5 Price 5 Service 5

Be careful when giving your credit card information to this business. They placed a fraudulent charge on my card for«missing» an appointment that I cancelled using their automated service. Absolutely horrible customer service. I disputed the charge, of course, and will take them to small claims court if necessary, but who wants to go through such a hassle; I thought this place was about relaxation?!!

They’re horrible. The front desk staff are dumb as rocks. An education is a terrible thing to waste. I guess if you’re not smart and can’t tell time, this is the place to work.

Today was my first time at Massage Envy. I was greeted by a lovely staff member and escorted to fill out paperwork and then get a massage. The massage was average, and I did get relaxed. However, the entire experience was ruined when I declined to join the club and become a «member». After asking me twice to become a member, I declined and immediately the manager shut me out. She was mad and would not say another word to me even though I was right in front of her. Not a good-bye, not a thank you. I was going to think about membership, but now, no way will I become a member. You need to treat people the same whether they decide to join or not. I know you probably earn a commission or bonus on membership, but don’t act rude to those of us who dont become members. I will not go back.
Linda was great. This was my first time ever having a massage and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was not seen promptly at 1:00pm, but I know this is an extremely busy time so I didn’t mind waiting. I am glad this location is close to my house and I will definitely go back.

The massage itself was ok… not the best but not the worst. The biggest problem was their customer service. I arrived for my 7pm appointment 15 minutes early, as requested, and filled out the necessary paperwork. I had a glass of water and took a bathroom break and still just sat there. Finally, someone came to get me and took me back to a room. She didn’t bother to ask my name or tell me hers. Turns out I wasn’t the customer she was looking for… a problem that could’ve been avoided by simply asking my name. So I went BACK to the waiting room to sit some more. At 7:15 a young lady finally came to get me. I verified that she was looking for me and asked if she was comfortable with prenatal massage. She said she was but the massage left much to be desired. It seemed rushed and felt like she was unsure of what to do. I had to ask her to actually massage my lower back. She massaged my legs for maybe a minute each. The whole thing was over in about 30 mins even though I scheduled an hour massage. When I spoke to the manager about it, she seemed so uninterested in the problem. She simply told the cashier to add an enhancement to my next appointment. I spoke up and told her it wasn’t fair for me to pay for an hour massage when I only received 30 mins through no fault of my own. I also told her that I doubted I would even return to this place to get the enhancement, considering the service provided. She reluctantly changed the price to the half hour price. I won’t return because nothing pisses me off more than a manager that makes me argue to be treated fairly.

After a year of pre-med fun, I decided I need to treat myself and treat myself regularly. So I signed up for a 1-year membership. I’m happy with it overall. It’s a good place to start for someone who wants to get a massage without spending $ 100+/hr. The best thing about Massage Envy– besides the price– is that there are so many locations. I’ve been to 4 different locations(1 in Pennsylvania, 3 in Georgia), and the quality does vary but not too much. I went into this particular location on Thursday morning. I made an appointment a few days before going in, and they called the day before to confirm. I checked in and waited for a minute in the simply-decorated reception area until the massage therapist came out and introduced herself. She asked whether I was comfortable with certain body parts(e.g. face, chest, glute). I was then led me into a dimly lit hallway with private rooms on either side. She stepped out for a minute so I could get undress down to whatever I was comfortable with. And then began the massage! It was a 1-hour massage. I guess it was Swedish– I usually just ask the massage therapist to use firm pressure and focus on my upper back. And she did just that. I thought the place was pretty empty, but during the session, I could hear some noises outside, over the«calming» music. Oh well. The key, I think, is to speak up. I know sometimes you don’t know what you want, or you just want to lie there and not think. But make sure to say something if the pressure, temperature, whatever could be improved. Massage therapists are– and should be– very accommodating!

Anthony gives the best deep tissue massage and stretch. Casey at the desk is so helpful.

Massage envy is a hit or miss. I used to be a member a few years back and I loved it! That is, after I actually found a therapist that I liked(it took about 6 sessions to actually find one). Maybe I’m just super picky, but how hard is it to listen to your client’s needs and focus on their problem areas? I mean, I pay good money for these massages! After a HORRIBLE week at work, my wonderful fiancé treated me to an hour massage here in hopes of starting off my weekend right. I called right after I got off work today and was able to schedule an appt for the same day. Yay! I showed up at 6:45 for my 7:00 appt and was immediately brought back to their«quite room.» My massage therapist came out and got me at 7:02 and brought me back to my room. After voicing to her my concerns and telling her what kind of pressure I liked, she gave me a few minutes to get undressed. I have a mild case of scoliosis so my left shoulder sits a little higher than my right and is always tensed up. So whenever I get a massage, I stress to my therapist that I need that area really worked on. In the beginning of my massage, it seemed that my therapist really listened to my concerns. That lasted for about 5 minutes. The massage started off decent then just went downhill,(just like my week at work!). She didn’t even massage me for the full 50 minutes either! My massage started at 7:08 and ended at 7:55. $ 78 for a «meh» 47 minute massage. BOO! I had considered re-joining massage envy, but after this last massage, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be back! Note-They’ve upped their prices. It used to cost $ 49/month to be a member. Now it’s $ 59/month.

This was one of my first Swedish massages. The lady who did it was lost and new. Ask for Julian, he worked for the Ritz-Carlton and knows what he’s doing. Take advantage of discount 1hr massage for first timers. I like how you get a checklist to tell them what’s off limits but they don’t even care to read it. I wanna become a member at one closer to me in Dunwoody. Great ambience and concepts!

Ask for Julian! He was awesome! Massage Envy is the way to go if you like to get massages at least once a month… I need deep tissue usually 2 times amonth to help remove the stress knots from my back and shoulders. I think Julian gave the best deep tissue massage ever… Thank you!

DO. NOT. GOHERE! i was«massaged»(or something like it) by a Romanian named Robert who was the absolute worst excuse for a massage therapist I have ever encountered. He was unprofessional — he was 10 minutes late, even though i was 15 minutes early and waited for a long time in the lobby, the towel kept slipping down farther than appropriate, and when he started, the massage was basically like he was just putting lotion on my back — not a massage at all. but then the deep tissue massage came in to play and, although i really enjoy deep tissue — this was way too much. when i asked repeatedly for him to please ease up, he refused. i was literally laying on the table crying wishing for it to be over. he also left my exposed a few times which was humiliating and uncomfortable beyond words. he was 10 minutes late and finished one minute early — but i was so relieved it was over i practically ran out of there. it’s partly my fault that i didnt stop the massage in the first 20 minutes when i was so very uncomfortable. but i was embarrassed and just tried to tough it out. do NOT do like i did — just dont even go. if you DO go, please for your sake DONOT ask for ROBERT or let them assign him to you. it was truly an awful, damaging experience.
