I was referred to this practice because during my 20 week ultrasound my midwife spotted something suspicious and wanted it checked out. Got there and the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. In fact they made me pay my copay before my visit… never in my life have I been to any doctors office where I had to pay BEFORE being seen. Then I waited about 30 min past my appointment time to be taken back for the ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was super nice(she’s the reason they get 1 star)…I really liked her. When the 40 min ultrasound was complete she said the doctor would be in after a few minutes. After an hour no one had been in and I was still laying on the table(imagine how uncomfortable that was). I wasn’t happy and neither was my husband so he left the room to see if he could find out when the doctor would be in. When he left he actually ran into the doctor in the hall and he claimed to be heading our way(we have no way of knowing if he finally saw me because my husband went looking for someone or if he really was already on his way). The doctor was ok… I didn’t hate him, but I wouldn’t say I really liked him either. He wants me to come back in 4 weeks, but I don’t think I will. You don’t leave a pregnant lady waiting for nearly 3 hours(from the time we walked in the door) with no food or drink(sign on the door… BTW my regular doctor encourages her pregnant patients to bring light snacks and water with them to their appointment) and expect her to have a decent visit. I’m just thankful that my baby looks ok and the suspicious item is gone.

If I could give this office zero stars I would. Pregnancy isn’t a time that stress should be added to your life especially if you’re high risk. I had to visit this office my last pregnancy and it was horrible to be mild. From the front office clerk to the office manager and the doctor all were so insensitive and rude. They are impersonal and talk at you instead of to you. My regular obgyn referred me a second time and I was so nervous about going back. Dr. Limpscomb does a poor job of explaining what they’re doing and why. They jump to admitting you to the hospital without saying if its an emergent issue or something that can be handled in office with a test. They seem money driven and not patient satisfaction driven which is sad. This is the only high risk doctor Maternal Gynerations refers their patients to so if we were to decide to have another child… I would have to switch from my regular ob just to avoid going to Maternal Fetal Spec. Avoid this place if you can, go to a place that cares about your feelings, thoughts and concerns. …

Well 3o days later and nothing has changed. 10 oclock appointment and 45 minutes later we still sit in the waiting area. Our other doctor doesn’t keep us waiting with no explanation, his staff knows what our co payment is and doesnt ask us and they inform us if they are running late its called be respectful. I sadly was unable to get our regular doctor to refer us to someone else but I promise this time I will it is a sad occasion when I have to inform my work which i report to at 2 I will be late cause of a 10am doctors appointment, why they ask and I inform them that there is a one hour wait before you get called back. If you have alot of free time then this is the place.

This week I had to meet with Maternal Fetal Specialist. They absolutely exceeded my expectations. The practice went above and beyond to get me scheduled in and Dr Charles Reed spent a lot of time with me answering every question. He seemed genuinely concerned and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend him! Thank you!

I was referred to this specialist because at my 18 week ultrasound the baby was turned so that most of his organs couldn’t be seen. I went to this office for a higher power ultrasound. My appt was at 10:00 and I was left waiting until 11:15!!! When I was finally seen, the nurse spent about 10 minutes doing an ultrasound before she told us she couldn’t see everything either! She was able to see the heart and brain and essential organs and everything looked great! When the doctor came in he proceeded to tell me I was overweight so have a real high chance of stillbirth and diabetes and multiple problems!(my bp was 106⁄66 and I have already had one very healthy pregnancy and 16 month old child!) the comments from the doctor after meeting me for 5 minutes was that I needed«stress» testing after 32 weeks and likely a c-section! This was completely unacceptable and I will not be returning to this office or doctor EVER!!! This pregnancy has been great so far just like the first and my personal OB-GYN has no reason to think I am high risk!

Went in for my 12 weeks ultrasound and blood work because I was referred by my ob/gyn for high risk pregnancy. Front ladie and phlebotomist were friendly. The ultra sound tech was so unfriendly, she looked mad even. Since I was nervous and it was my first pregnancy, asked her some questions and she bluntly answered to ask dr. And half of the time I did not understand what she was saying because she talked very fast and low. Felt very uncomfortable the whole time, when I should of been happy that my baby was healthy. I did not have a have a good experience. I work in medical field where I work as a clinical manager and we refer patients to specialist all the time. This is not the place for you to go.

I was referred by my obstetrician due to my high risk pregnancy. My first time in office was back in 2008 for my pregnancy with my twins and they are some some the friendliest nurses I’ve come in contact we thus far. So, I’m a patient of theirs once again and there are no complaints. The nurses were informative as well as my doctor.

I was referred to Maternal Fetal Specialists, only for a 2nd opinion, as my current pregnancy looked to have potential problems. The nurses and the ladies who do the ultra sound are nice. However, the doctors aren’t as caring and feel the only way to fix a problem is to throw a patient into the hospital, instead of finding another doctor who might help resolve any existing health issues and get things looking better. They say if you aren’t comfortable with a doctor, move on and that is exactly what I am doing. I never did feel comfortable at this office from day one.
