Mellow Mushroom

We have come here several times, and we have always received excellent food and excellent service. Last night was no exception. We went for dinner before going to catch a late movie, and the food and service were very good. We also did not have to wait long for our food.

Have eaten here several times and ordered for take out. Service is always nice and friendly and pizza awesome!

I was surprised to see it situated in a strip mall, but once inside the atmosphere is typical of that of other mellow mushrooms (although a bit smaller). I got a plain cheese pizza with olive oil base and it was cooked to perfection. The service was speedy and our waitress was very attentive. My girlfriend got a mushroom avocado pizza and was incredible satisfied with hers as well.

Best pizza around Lawrenceville! Had the house special and had a great balance of all ingredients

I love this location! I usually go to the one located in Suwanee Town Center and they are always packed! This location is a bit smaller but it gives the place a cozy feeling. The staff here is professional and friendly, I loved our waitress! I wish I could remember her name. Love the pizza here, great place to check out if you’re craving pizza and want something different!

Hope the pizza is good been sitting here 50 minutes since we ordered. Getting ready to walk out. Waitress has not been over sine she took order. Will not be back because place is not full

Good was good horrible service the waitress was very rude and would ask us questions while she walked away and basically ignored us the majority of the time;(

I have eaten here several times in the last year because it is close to my office. The owner, Charlie, can be seen working the counter during lunch some days and I swear he never forgets a face! The rest of the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
The food is wonderful. My favorite is the Red Skin Potato Pie and the Pretzels with Beer Cheese Dip.
Also, they usually have a live band about once a month. Lot of fun.

Hands down the best pizza in town. Have eaten here since it opened and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience.

Best specialty pizza spot around! Service has been consistent and prices are right! Try the local pizza choice it’s always a hit. Also great for take out.

I read that the holy shiitake pie was good so I gave it a try. This pizza was awesome. I’m not a fan of non traditional pizza but this pizza was good! Really good crust and the mushrooms and olive oil gave it a unique taste. Best selection was good as well.

I’ve started frequenting this Mellow much more and noticed a very positive change in their service. I even noticed they were awarded «Best Service» for this location by Mellow Mushroom (national or corporate?). The girls have been more attentive and organized. I usually see the owner actively working the front and back of the house on weekends. Food is still delicious as always and it’s much better now that service is on par.

Loved it. I flew in on a Sunday and walked here from the hotel. My waitress was really sweet and did a great job as a server. She was knowledgable when I asked questions about the food, and she knew about the beer selection. I asked if there are any cool local spots, and she didn’t know, so she introduced me to another waitress named Madison. She was a total sweetheart and gave me some cool places to go visit. It was a great trip, and mellow was one of my favorite parts. I’ll be back next time I’m in town. Thanks for the great service ladies.

Although I thought I had already reviewed this branch, I’m still writing a 4 star review here. Although quite smaller and integrated a little more into the suburban lifestyle from a geographic standpoint, this place still maintains its distinct (and awesome) character as well as high-​quality food. It’s quite the little gem in Lawrenceville, the city in which I grew up. It’s become a mainstay for my brother and I to visit here every time we’re both back in town visiting family. We enjoy good beer, tasty pretzels, and of course, the chain’s famous pizza (and might I add, the best pizza I ever have had). Real props to the owner, a nice man who let us even bring my brother’s dog to the outdoor patio. This location boasts a sign that says it has the highest customer satisfaction of any other Mellow Mushroom in the country. Though I question the means by which this was measured (mostly because I love all of the other branches so much), their customer service was definitely amazing.

Good pizza for the family if you don’t want Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, or something along those lines. It’s nothing to go crazy about though.
The service is nice and friendly, and the prices are pretty good. Overall though, it’s a decent place.

I’ve had the veggie pizza with daiya cheese a million times from here. The best part about MM is the crust. They used some type of garlic sauce/​seasoning to finish it off. So good. Prices are high but well worth it. The place has a very good vibe for dine in as well, highly recommended.

Stopped in here on a Friday afternoon about 3 PM & there were a few patrons. This MM is much smaller than the ones I’m accustomed to (in NC). I always enjoy checking out each location, as overall the MM theme is kept intact, each one is decorated differently.
As much as I wanted pizza, I wasn’t fully in the mood for it, so I decided on a hoagie. It didn’t take long for my sandwich to arrive (after placing my order). It was pretty tasty, so I will definitely choose this again.
Our waitress was very friendly & understanding, as I kept having to leave the table to take phone interview calls.
The spot was clean & parking plentiful. Prices are reasonable & even more so at lunchtime when they have specials.

PROS: very delicious crust, nicely chewy, good yeasty dough flavor. Very fresh, too. Great ingredients. Tasty fillings. Green olives as a topping! Huge plus in my book!
CONS: sauce tasted and felt like pure tomato paste. Not a great flavor there, and not very palatable. Cheese was also a little flavorless, not as enjoyable as a standard pizza joint mozzarella.
Overall, it was worth it. I’d eat there again, but I’d probably want to try some of their other creations (like the Kosmic Karma). The stromboli was spot on, though, and the muffuletta bread was very tasty. (Love olives!)
