Fried rice is supposed to have peas and other vegetables; and also egg. This one did not, but it did have plenty of pork. Other than that, it was pretty close to good NYC fried rice.

This will be short and to the point. Food was crap and I’m not even going to take the time to go into detail. I threw it out the first chance I had — didn’t even bother taking it home. The place is dreary and dingy. People behind the counter are lifeless. Not even worth the trouble to compare this dump to other eateries, because, really, who cares. My one and only visit will be the last one. Save your money.

Very disappointed in my choice of dinner tonight. I ordered Shrimp and Broccoli and it is YUK. Really surprised because they are the one little hole in the wall place where the food is decent. Not a 4 or 5 star of course, but decent. Not the case tonight!!! . :O(

Peking Café is my go-to for fast, local chinese food. A step above Panda Express, a whole stairwell lower than PF Changs, the quality of Peking Café is hit or miss and lately has been more on the miss side. Our standard order is the General Tso’s dish — they don’t make it hot enough to offend my wife and we can share one dinner entrée given the ample portions. The steamed dumplings are also, usually, a good dish to try. Not sure what sauce they’re using, but we like it. Kinda like chancing Taco Bell, we sometimes get a little queasy from eating here the next morning, but more often than not it’s just tasty and filling when we need comfort food.
