I passed by Sam’s location on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd and I decided to call. I bought a tv for a good price but a year after I bought it, it just stopped working. I called Sam and he came to my house since the tv was too big to transport. He examined the tv and discovered what was wrong. He ordered the part and a week later, he and the part were back! He installed it and at a VERY reasonable price. Sam isn’t much for talking but he’s very professional and good at what he does.

I challenged Sam to remove the interior projector, screen glass, and circuit boards of a 1977 Quasar TV which had been cosmetically damaged in shipping. Sam not only accepted my challenge, but he made all of the possible-repairs to the shell practical to ensure the results of his work met my expectation. Our goal was to repurpose an old retro TV(it is yellow) into a cat bed and it turned out brilliantly! Whereas all other electronic repair shops turned down our project request, Sam knows his TVs — both yesterday and today. Highly recommended!

When the screen on our TV took on a dark green hue, my wife and I took it to Sam’s Electronics for a repair. After fiddling with the TV for a few minutes, Sam told us that he’d figured out the problem and that he could order a new part and get repairs started within the week. Fast, right? Well, not so fast, because we didn’t hear from Sam again for two weeks. At that point, I began calling Sam every third day or so in the hope of prodding him into action. During each call, Sam gave me an excuse: He said that two consecutive vendors shipped him the wrong part but that he could order the correct one from a third vendor; that he was busy but would get to our TV within the afternoon; or that he was on a house call but would call me back. And, after each call, I didn’t hear from Sam again until I called him. This went on for two more weeks. So, one month after dropping off the TV, I called to insist on action: Either repair the TV or we will come pick it up today. Sam responded that we could come pick up the TV, because he was unwilling to order the necessary part. My wife and I then made the 15 minutes drive to Sam’s shop, only to find a sign stating that Sam would return in two hours. At this point, we’ve abandoned all hope of repair and are leaving the TV with Sam permanently – it’s not worth anything to us unrepaired, Sam has soured us on the idea of repair, and we don’t have the time or energy to sink into tracking Sam down so that he can give us an unrepaired TV. All I can say is that this is either an incompetent TV repair business or an ingenious scheme for obtaining free parts from old TVs.

He fixed the TV it is working very well. The cost was very fair.
