Sonic Drive-In

Went to sonic drive thru tonight. Even after waiting 20 minutes in line and the two cars behind me got their order and left our 3 sandwiches were still not ready. Food was cold and hard cashier was rude. Total of 25 minutes, nasty food and bad attitudes. We will never eat here again. If I could do zero stars I would.
The management team contacted me and corrected the mistakes. We were given a meal that was equivalent to what we spent. The food was good and no wait. I would consider going again in the future.

Of course this place is slow. What do you expect when you pay minimum wage? Lol I didn’t have a bad experience here yesterday but it was slow. I ordered milkshakes and they were fine and not a arm and a leg like some people been saying. I would suggest people budget there time if they are in a rush when coming here.

Reason for 4 stars and not 5: Pretty slow drive thru especially if it’s the busy time of day. Be patient.
Other than that I’ve always loved the food. Always fresh (maybe that’s why they’re slow) and usually always friendly people. Recently they double charged me so I emailed their customer service. Within a day the manager of the store emailed me personally to say sorry and I could come by for a refund or he could mail a gift card. I came the next day and he gave me cash. I never had to show a receipt or prove myself. I really appreciate the customer service.

I love sonic in general but not this location. First of all I ordered 2 deluxe cheeseburgers and once I got home I realized there was no cheese. I was charged with cheese which Is why it bothered me. Also the «large» fries aren’t really large. The container is large and the fries are spread out making it look like there’s a lot. There were literally about 15 fries in there. I know not all sonics are the same so I’ll just go to the Duluth location next time.

They are freaking slow. I go here every other sunday for some mozarella sticks and i have to punch the button several times for someone to take my order. Yes i love the Mozz sticks but its not worth the hassle!
Like someone mentioned, i feel like im in school because there are kids hanging around. They usually just chill… not being disruptive or anything so it doesnt bother me.

I’ve been coming here since I was literally a baby because I live two minutes away. Some will call it disappointing or dirty, but I call it a charming hometown hangout. As with any Sonic, it’s only outdoor seating. Don’t be a bum; bring your best group of friends and chill out to the most authentic fast food in our cute little town.
In all honesty, you have to time your visit in reference to what kind of crowd you wish to encounter. This place is open late and tends to attract the folks from whom your momma told you to stay away around midnight.
Maybe you’re the kind of person from whom somebody else’s momma told them to stay away! If so, Sonic is a great late-​night hangout and smoking is always permitted (in addition to pretty darn loud music). It’s the epitome of perfectly grungey highschool badassery. The establishment reflects the people; it is not the cleanest place you will find, but you should not expect it to be. It’s outdoor-​only seating for crying out loud!
This is some damn good food, let me tell you! Sonic is known for their tots, but I actually recommend the fries! In my opinion they are better than from McDonald’s — decent portion and perfectly greasy with mouth-​watering flavor (seriously, my mouth waters as I’m grabbing the bag through the drive-​thru window). I also recommend the Frito-​Chili pie (a childhood favorite of mine)! I don’t recall that it is on he menu anymore, but you can certainly ask for it; I always do!
One more great thing about this place is that is appeals to highschoolers in more ways than one. A good percentage of the staff goes to Brookwood (as do I); I always find my friends working here!
If you aren’t into the crowded teenage loitering scene (because that’s a lot of what it had become), I suggest another place, but if you are, come on down! Keep in mind that everybody’s welcome here regardless.

They really need to hire better staff.

The food’s ok, but the employees smoke out by the tables (which is against Gwinnett County ordinance) and it ruined our entire meal. Seriously, this should be common sense.

It’s your typical Sonic with great customer service.

A decent fast food restaurant with your option of fries, tater tots, AND onion rings. Husband bought a hamburger combo.
Known for their multi-​flavored limeade drinks. We got strawberry and cranberry limeade. Delicious.
I only had two bites of the burger but it was fine. Tater tots were crunchy.
