I too had the same experience as Sadie T. Was ignored at the door, paid no attention to me. It was mother’s day Sunday but that’s no excuse. I think the owner doesn’t care about certain patrons entering his establishment. Wont be back and will tell friends.

Enjoy the view, skip the attitude. My kids and I order take out from a local spot and just sit in the car in the parking lot which still has a great view of the planes. Avoid this place unless your one of their treasured regulars

We had our Dad’s surprise 90^th BD party here last night. Everyone loved the atmosphere, enjoyed their food and had such a great time. Joey & Hokey are great party hosts, so kind and helpful for our party setup. Their staff was excellent in making sure all our guests had great service in a very timely fashion. I had the veggie burger and it was delicious. They were very accommodating with everything. I will definitely go back to eat there, visit with our new friends and I will have my next party here too.

I have ate here many times but never left a review before now, the food has always been great, hot and priced right one of my favorite is The pig in the city. Some nights they have live music but i like movie night (normaly on wed nights) with my wife and kids. I will return for the Elvis show next.

Good home cooking at a great price. Good portions and the kiddos can watch the planes taking off. Very friendly service. I have been coming here since before my kids were born!

Wonderful outdoor patio but the food is average and the service is very poor.

I don’t understand why this place isn’t always packed… the food is outstanding cube steak you can cut with a fork… the service is super friendly as are the owners!

Great restaurant. I found this place through a promotion they were running on another site.
It’s nice to sit out on the runway patio and watch the helicopters and planes fly by. The food is pretty good — I usually get the $ 100 Burger (which is actually only $ 8) — and the servers are very polite and accommodating.
It’s not the best looking. From the inside, it could use a bit of maintenance and cleaning, but overall it’s a very good restaurant.

My friends and I love having playdate lunches here. We sit outside so the kids can watch the planes take off and land.
I usually get the grilled chicken salad, it’s so good!

New to the area and saw great reviews for the hamburgers. Should have just gotten a burger but I wasent that hungry so I went with the BLT. The bacon was chopped up & was super dry to where my toasted bread broke the bacon. Taking my 1^st bite into the 2^nd half all I could taste was fish. I dont eat fish so it was a horrible shock to be thinking bacon but end up tasting fish :\ the staff was very friendly and we still left 20% cause it not a servers fault the kitchen F’s up.

How cool that a restaurant is located right along the runway at this Gwinnett County Airport, so you can enjoy a meal and watch the planes taking off and landing. How unfortunate that me and 6 of my closest friends met there for lunch on 5.17.14 with our children, and had to leave! Why? Well, the restaurant manager advised us that a party of 7 adults and 7 children would need to sit in the very back of the restaurant (which is very far from the windows and the views) or outside on the patio in 50 degree weather with strong winds. We were told those were our two options to keep our children from disturbing the «regular business guest.»
Our children range in age from 4 weeks old to almost 5 years old. How cool it would have been for them to watch the planes coming and going on the runway… what a great opportunity to teach them about aviation and watch them learn!
We were not kicked out of the restaurant or asked to leave, we were just told that we only had these two places to sit and eat. Did I mention it was 11am and there were no other guest in the restaurant at this point!!!
I’ve been a restaurant manager for 9 years now, and never would tell a guest that their children would disturb other guest, therefore they had to be secluded outside or in the back of a restaurant… even if thats what I was thinking. The lack of tact and control that the manager on duty showed me and my girlfriends, was truly surprising and honestly, inappropriate.
I will not be dining in this restaurant ever again. Not only will I not recommend this restaurant to anyone, I will do everything in my power to tell potential customers to avoid this place like the plague!!!
I’m so happy to take my money and recommendations to a restaurant that is accommodating to mothers with children.
Bottom line, not worth your time to dine here. If they don’t care about their guest, imagine how they won’t care about the food they are serving you too! So go find yourself another restaurant on Unilocal to eat at… this place is guaranteed to disappoint!

We went here with a small group of moms and young kids. We were told the only way we could eat and watch the planes is if we sit on the patio while it was in the 50’s with strong gusts of winds. We were told we would disrupt their regular customers inside. Let me point out there was not a single other person in the restaurant. We had to leave with our children in tears. This is not a kid friendly restaurant. Avoid this place unless you’re one of their «regulars».

Surprisingly tasty food; sitting on the deck watching the planes take off and land on a lovely Spring evening is a real treat!
The inside of the restaurant is in need of a makeover (very dated)… BUT the food (and service) was better than expected.

Food was ok. Disappointed to find hair in our food. We were charged $ 0.80 for water (unadvertised charge) and the owner (s) seems to have an attitude towards customers depending on their mood–
We have been there a number of times and have written this review based on all our experiences (one experience is seldom fair to rate a place by). Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

A true mom and pops restaurant for true aviation aficionado.
I spent a good two months in Lawrenceville and I used to go here two to three times a week.
The burger is amazing and the home fries are well battered. Their bread pudding is to die for no matter what flavor you choose. I’ve probably eaten each one, minus the seasonal ones.
On a great day you can sit out and watch planes taxi, takeoff and land. What’s not to love about that! All while eating great home cooking styled food. Loved it!

$ 100 hamburger (really $ 8) and berry cobbler plus the friendly servers were outstanding. Enjoyed the live music. Looking forward to the Elvis show on 9/​21z

This restaurant is located next to Briscoe Field, a regional airport. Good burgers, friendly service, and fun watching the planes take off and land. Love the model airplanes that are for sale and found throughout the entire restaurant. Next time I’m there I want to find a P-​3 Orion which is what I flew in when I was Navy Aircrew.
