Be warned. This is the most tragic lodging experience I’ve ever had. Bar none. It’s hard to believe this «brand» is part of Wyndham. Shame on you Wyndham. Overpowering antiseptic odors, missing «artwork» leaving exposed picture hangers and holes filled with putty, bizarre retrofitted keycard entry system, exterior access doors damaged and left open, creepy fitness center and don’t even THINK about the pool. Instead, think of a place Aileen Wuornos would have called home, and you have this horrifying destination.

Furniture Is old and the place is not that nice looking but it’s clean and the service is good, definitely not a five star hotel but clean… The lady who serves in the cafeteria is really nice and she’s all smiles she made our day

Very used Older furniture and décor, but not a problem– great deal, great price for a clean place to stay. Stayed here two different times, for 3 – 5 days each. Free hot breakfast, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room, flatscreen, bed is comfortable, free wifi, friendly staff. Good location close to things in town. Can’t beat the price and deal on all that is included.

Just got back from spending 3 nights and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in an inn. The room looked reasonably clean, however, if you suffer from allergies the blow air would definitely cause a problem as it seemed the vents have not been cleaned. The bathtub was just awful. Had to buy bleach to disinfect. Also they were doing renovations and the work went on until after 11p. m…my husband had to complain to the front desk… children of the workers were running above our heads late at night… the paint smell was not healthy. The only plus to this place was the staff, they were courteous… couldn’t wait to leave. My son graduated from basic training and that was the only thing that made me stay for the entire time… this is one of the accommodations that is looked at when families are making their way to their kids graduation and the Baymont Inn falls way down on the pole for industry standards… Renovations should not be ongoing until 8p. m or after. .A VERY SHABBY WAY TO TREAT AND ACCOMMODATE MILITARY FAMILIES!

We reserved a room for 3 days to attend a graduation from basic training. The 1^st floor lobby looked presentable but when we went to our reserved room, it was dirty. The furnitures were old with scratches, toilet bowl was dirty with yellow ring stain, chair seat was badly stained, air conditioner grill with molds, shower head was also stained with mold and mildew. We complained at the front desk about it but the guy there at 1700 on 11÷24÷14 was rude. He definitely needs to be trained how to handle customers. We were told that we can’t cancel the room because it was late. I therefore requested to cancel the other 2 reserved days but he said ‚” you will bebilled for 3 days”. We went back to the room and requested to speak with the manager but she was gone for the day. After 15 minutes, received a call from the manager and she said they will cancel the other 2 days. We went to look for another hotel in the area and found one with an excellent customer service and very clean room. We immediately checked — in for the next 3 days. We went back to pick up our things and checked — out the same day. Again, the guy in the front desk refused to provide me a copy of my receipt. He said «it is just a waste of paper, you will get it in you email». The hotel was also having renovation at that time so you can hear the noise very loud in the room.

We’ll the outside of the building is good but once inside — when we got in the room the carpet was wet an the room smelled ! The pool was ok — it could use a make over ! I never want to stay there again ! There’s so much mold ! We only stayed there because it was cheep ! There’s a pic of the pool on here an that is not the same pool !

Spent three nights here this week. Very clean, great room, loaded with amenities, and a positive experience at a very reasonable price. Staff are super courteous and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay. Located close to several good restaurants and shopping. A great choice if you need to stay in Lawton.

We love this place!!! Customer service is great. Very clean and comfortable. Great prices. The pool is amazing and the breakfast is really good. We just LOVE Mrs. Betty, the breakfast host!!!

Stayed a week in April 2013. I was really pleased with the Customer Service at this hotel. It was very clean. It was not as crisp and new as some hotels I’ve been in. It is equal to a Shilo Inn or Red Lion. We had missed a couple of days of housekeeping because we were in our room. Third day I called to see if we could get service we were leaving for the afternoon. Housekeeping staff had left but later we returned the head housekeeper had cleaned our room. We were very pleased.

I reserved a room here with Wyndham Rewards, this being the only reason to book with this establishment. I cancelled three weeks in advance and was charged for the complete stay, the first time I called the receptionist told me that she would let the bookkeeper know of the situation later that day since she didn’t arrive until the afternoon time. I didn’t receive the call back that day but I checked my account and it was charged twice, which were different amounts. The next day I called and was explained that the manager/​bookkeeper doesn’t work weekends, then I tried to ask for a regional managers name but no the receptionist explained that the she didn’t know it. So when I arrived to the establishment to give her more information the receptionist was on her cell phone texting, the breakfast area smelled of smoke and was appealing what so ever, I personally don’t think this place was worth the $ 82.00 that I was quoted. Then I explained to the receptionist what was happening and she didn’t know what to say, they ran out of ink for the printers and explained that she had to write everything down. Don’t stay here, I would recommend to stay at Candlewood Suites for an extra $ 10 well worth the money.

I arrived late at night to military lodging to learn I did not have a reservation. Due to basic training graduations the next morning, there were no vacancies. I finally made my way down the list to Baymont Inn & Suites. I took one of the last rooms they had — a «business suite» for $ 105​.To some reading this, I am sure $ 105 does not sound like too much. However, the government per diem rate for the Lawton area is around $ 77. The clerk informed me since they were already considered booked, they did not offer a military discount on the business suites.
With the assistance of a stained, lopsided luggage cart and three functioning wheels, I got into my «suite» after midnight. I was greeted by sweltering, sauna-​like heat and a muggy smell. I hit the lights and turned on a ceiling fan. Yes, my suite had a ceiling fan. The motor was so loud, it sounded like it was preparing for takeoff. Around 4a, with the air conditioner full blast and my rattling fan, the room cooled down to a comfortable temperature. Not sure what in my room constituted the «business suite» designation and price other than a large plastic box that could have been a fax machine.
The room looked and felt «old». There was excessive caulking all over the counters, worn carpet and an antiquated microwave. The appearance of the entire property was shabby and run-​down.
I gave old Baymont two stars, simply because it kept me from sleeping in my car.
