Very nice and easy hike to start the day. A beautiful reward awaits you at the end and i grabbed lunch at Tosh’s ramen, follow by Tulie Bakery and ended the night at Oh Mai.

I’ve hiked this trail for the last 25 years. It’s changed a bit but most of the improvements are improvements. This trail has 3 waterfalls and ranges from somewhat difficult in the beginning to easy and back difficult toward the 3rd waterfall. Homes being developed in the last 10 years has blocked access to the 1st waterfall but is still accessible if you go down the backside or under the fence they’ve put up. It’s about 40 feet tall. You will see where people go through the fence to get there in the beginning. The second waterfall is halfway up the trail and is about 12 feet tall. The third waterfall is at the very top of the trail and is about 50 feet tall. This trail has become a vary popular location over the years and is often crowded. Parking can be a headache. There are rattlesnakes in the summer so be aware. It’s a fun hike overall and is about 3 miles to the 3rd waterfall. Just about 10 miles to the south is Centerville canyon. It’s less busy and just as nice if not nicer.

One of the best, easily accessible trails that the area has to offer. The switchbacks at the beginning can be rough, but the hike is worth it! It’s beautiful the entire time but the waterfall at the end is amazing. The waterfall is not long, but it’s wide. Pack plenty of water and a snack! Also, it can be hard for pups so make sure you plan ahead for them as well. I have a black lab and a chihuahua who both love this hike but occasionally my chihuahua requires some assistance. That’s what I get for having a 6 lb dog! And although there’s a lot of shade, there are still stretches in the sun. It was too much for our lab one day. Be mindful of your pets! Warning: this is a well loved trail!!! Be prepared to see an overflowing parking lot with cars all the way down the road! The hike spreads out a lot so you won’t be hiking up in a single file line, but it’s not as peaceful and quiet as some of the other hikes nearby.

Amazing hiking trail. Also being to close to many homes, makes it a very practical morning to early afternoon hike! I went about 2 and ½ miles back into the canyon after the waterfall. It’s relatively dangerous and I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t have climbing experience. Other than that, I highly recommend this trial!

This is a great intermediate trail! I see younger kids doing this trail often, although it would be a challenge for them I’m sure. There are a few parts on this trail where you have to climb over some sketchy rocks, but it’s really fun and not too bad if you’re not scared of heights! If you’ve done waterfall canyon, this is comparable l

Such a great hike! I take the dogs and kids and enjoy a few hours in the mountains. Plenty of places to stop and rest, lots of shaded spots to relax in, a few nice clearings for camping and a bunch of spots to cool off in the river. Making it to the waterfall at the top is a great feeling every time.

Fantastic hike. There are a lot of trails that branch off from the main trail, which can make the hike confusing, however when you get into the canyon most of the trails meet back up. There are a few spots on the trail with some steep climbs or where you are on rock walls, so use some discretion before taking very small children. The falls itself is fantastic. Super cool water and as you get close it blasts you with cool air on a hot day. I give the trail 4 stars mainly due to how many other people there are and the litter and graffiti along the trail. Other than that this trail is a great hike.

The first time hiking this trail can be confusing in some areas. Thankfully it isn’t hard to find your way up if you just track the boot prints of humans and paw prints of dogs. Loved the hike. It had the perfect amount of challenging inclines and obstacles, and a bonus round at the very end — finding a rock path across the river. Or not worrying about it and just trudging through the river. Either way, you’re going to get your shoes/feet wet. As always bring water and other outdoor gear you feel necessary for a 2 – 3 hour excursion.
