What a joke! Poor business, 3^rd time coming to LeClaire to get popcorn and it’s closed! What kind of business is closed during the week in the middle of the day? Have been once and loved the popcorn can’t go back to get more because they are always closed! So sad!

The best popcorn in Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois! They have a great variety of flavors – don’t be afraid to try them all! My favorite is the Cinnamon! Or Snickers! Or Caramel! Or Cheese! Oh, wait! I love the Salted Caramel! (See what I mean – try them all!) While you’re there, get some chocolate or some old-​fashioned candy, too! GREAT customer service tops off the GREAT popcorn!

Love this store! I got the toffee bar popcorn. It’s amazing! For sure going back for more!

On our trip to Le Claire we made a stop at Kernel Cody’s, which boasts more than 30 flavors of popcorn. President Obama visited on August 16, 2011. I bought Tutti Fruitti popcorn, which included grape, cherry, green apple, lemon, butter and many others. It was delicious!

First time to Le Claire today! They have a nice selection of candy. We bought two bags for each child. We also purchased shaved ice. The gal that made the shaved ice treat packed it just right and soaked it in extra juice just to be sure we’d have flavor till the end. She was wonderful! The other person there was the owner, I believe. He was real nice too.
Overall, you’ve got to be sure to stop. It’s small, but I promise you’ll find a sweet treat or some popcorn to go home with.

Man this place has some POP! Went to Le Claire while on a business trip and saw this place as we were driving by. Decided to stop in and check it out and I am glad we did. Open the door and BAM your nose is inundated with the smell of popcorn. You’d think you were about to see a movie!
They have all different kinds of popcorn. I tried some carmel popcorn that they had for sample and it was fabulous. I bought a bag of peanut butter and jelly flavored popcorn and it was excellent. The lady that was working was very nice and went into many details on how they make the different flavors.
If popcorn isn’t your thing then check out the candies they have! I bought some pecan clusters that were amazing. They had many different kinds of chocolate and some hard candy as well.
Give Kernel Cody’s a try if you are within 30 minutes of Le Claire. You will NOT regret it!

As soon as you walk in you are taken back by the awesome smell of fresh popcorn and tasty chocolate treats. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. they also have free samples of their most popular popcorn. My favorite is the Snickers… Yum!
They also offer lots of chocolate covered items. You can’t go wrong with the cherry cordials though. All in all a great experience.
