I had the tacos this morning for breakfast. Loaded up with bean, potatoe, egg, bacon, sausage and cheese pretty darn good. First day serving breakfast will be back for sure. Breakfast will only be served on Sunday and Monday mornings.

Hillside BBQ is amazing! I have had a lot of bbq and Hillside, by far, is the absolute best! Looking forward to my next visit there!

This place is new, but has the best BBQ in Leakey. The Hillside BBQ is located next to Tina’s Kitchen off of Hwy 83, and is great for lunch/supper. The brisket and jalepeno sausage are amazing. For sides, be sure to try the creamed corn– it is some of the best that I have had. Sweet/unsweet tea comes in huge to-go cups (the BBQ also comes in disposable trays). You can eat outside (no inside seating when I was there) or take the food to-go.
Jeffery (the owner) also catered my wedding reception in Leakey. He did a great job, following instructions on what and how we wanted things prepared. He brought a full service crew, with bartender and cleanup crew. They helped the food serving part of the reception be painless. I highly recommend Hillside BBQ and Jeffery for catering any event.
