1. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear every person on the floor coming and going, everything in the apartment above you, kids screaming, dogs howling, people using the bathroom, doors slamming, etc. 2. The maintenance staff is inept, rude, or unresponsive altogether — Probably due to the amount of complaints they receive each day. 3. They are cheaply built. Septic problems– on a daily basis, disgusting smells from others waste comes from your drains into your apartment! The floors peel off. The appliances are junky. Nothing works the way it should. And because of this, your happiness suffers. The dishwasher runs for 3 hours, but it doesn’t clean the dishes. You will have to wash them again as you empty the dishwasher. The heat and AC cause skyrocketed bills because there is no insulation. 4. The elevator is painfully slow — and, there’s only one. So when someone is moving in, or out(which is basically constantly) you can expect to climb. And at peak times(leaving for work in the morning and coming home from work) you can expect to wait, and wait, and wait… and wait some more. 5. People can’t park anywhere. Visitor parking is ALWAYS full, or blocked off altogether. The number of parking spaces is totally inadequate for the amount of dwellers in the building. 6. The hallways stink. «Valet trash» is not always a plus. When coming home from work, you will return to the building and then hold your breath to avoid the nauseous smell. Also, the hallways are dirty and should be vacuumed regularly, but they are not. 7. Apparently there was a rat in the pool. 8. Finally, and most importantly, the office staff is dishonest, unprofessional, and will bully those who ask anything of them. They’ll tell you whatever it takes to get you to lease a place — then they will snub you when when you expect them to deliver. Almost as if to intimidate their way out of doing anything. I’ve met several residents who in passing have expressed their disappointments. I would strongly advise anyone to take these reviews into consideration and move elsewhere. I wish I had.

Don’t be fooled, this is far from luxury… In most experiences you pay for what you get. In our 6 month experience at the residences at Park Place, our family has paid for what was offered on the lovely brochure and gotten anything but. Our experience here is not unique. Every neighbor we have seen or spoken with has had issues with the constant construction noise and dust. Torn up entryways and scaffolding are hardly the worst part of this«luxury» living nightmare. Each and every one of us paying $ 2 – 3,000.00 a month has brought our grievances to management. We have asked for rent concessions during construction and we have asked for communication. We have gotten neither and they will now no longer even recognize our letters nor phone calls. Management can only do so much. That is understood. Owners need to be held accountable for renting an unsafe, under«surprise» construction building for these exorbitant rent rates. The concept is great. The inability to live up to what was promised is not acceptable. Perhaps in 6 months, when our lease is up this place will be habitable. RENTERBEWARE. NOENDINSIGHTFORCONSTRUCTIONOFTHESEPROPERTIES.
