Kroger

This is an average mediocre Kroger. It has some nice cheese and a few organically but just not the type of shopping experience I enjoy.

Well, its Kroger. Seems lately like they are not well stocked and are running low on certain products, especially in the dairy isle.
Other than that it is a grocery store, so they have a good produce section and the deli has many choices.

This Kroger is ALWAYS out of key items, especially sale items. Every day of the week, night or day. Empty shelves. No food… not literally, but you get the picture. I have found a way to shop at Aldi instead. I used to think by shopping at Kroger, I’d be supporting local, albeit large business. Nope, big corporate has taken them over.

it’s tough to review a place when it’s your only choice. I like the commercials where they act like they’re your friend and pretend to be a homey place. «Hi Ashley, it’s good to see you». Where the hell is she going to go? This store employs people part time and demands they are available at the stores pleasure, so they can’t get a second job. Despite screwing people over on wages, the prices remain high.
At the end of the day, if this store closed, we would all starve to death. Their Starbucks is the worst I’ve been to with a particular employee just being nasty all the time. This location has seafood, and it’s about as un-​fresh as you can get. They don’t have a meat manager, so you have to wait for some kid to quit picking his nose to to come by and half ass cut the meat if you want anything semi-​fresh.
When I go, I let the right fart, at the right time.

Dear Lebanon Kroger,
For the love of GOD, Stop moving things around constantly. It’s frustrating and an irritating waste of my time when I have to walk around searching for things just after learning where they are from the last rearrange.
It’s unfair to your customers that you keep doing this and it is for this very reason I drive to other stores and towns just to avoid the frustration. I hate this store and I won’t ever shop here unless I have zero choice.

Have a never reviewed this? How? This is my «hometown» Kroger and the location I shop at most often. Their floral department is pretty stellar for any grocery store. So bright and cheery, overflowing with all the pretty flowers as soon as you enter the store. This location is very clean, always stocked and best of all you can always find a sample to snack on. I mean who doesn’t need to refuel when buying a weeks worth of groceries?
This location was very recently renovated and inside you will find:
–Starbucks
–The Little Clinic (don’t come here hoping for a narcotic prescription, they cannot give those out)
−5÷3 Bank
–Pharmacy
–Clothing section
–Home Goods/​Housewares section
–Gourmet Cheese Area
–Full Service Deli (and pre-​order kiosk at the entrance of the store)
–2 Redbox rental kiosks (out front)
–Antipasta Bar
–Meat Counter (including seafood options)
…and you know, groceries… obviously.

They are re-​doing this store again :-/​please stop moving things around.
I go here because it’s convenient, that is all. The customer service is always marginal, at best. I have had snide comments from the cashier before about my large order — as in «I would hate to have to bag that», as he mumbled that under his breath, comments about my coupons, which was like 15. Booo you Kroger!
The produce at this Kroger needs some help as well, the flies in the produce and the sub par selection makes it hard to find nice produce to keep longer than a day or two.
I have tried to start going to the store in Centerville, which is about 20 minutes out of the way, but the customer service, produce selection, and overall grocery selection is much better and they always have items in stock.

Great kroger has everything I need. Great organic food selection (for a kroger) and vegetarian food as well. Even has a seperate liqour store inside!

This location gets an extra star purely on its extensive wine and spirits selection.
The lines are average, they always seems to be just one cashier short, but not terrible. This is also a Marketplace so you can find home goods and furniture at this location.
What I don’t get/Can’t stand is the fact that Ever. Single. Time. I go into this store my senses are automatically hit with the strongest metallic taste/​odor I have ever encountered! I don’t know what it is, but a friend of mine had the same thing. It may be way too much cleaning chemicals or just something in their air, but it never ceases and I have to deal with it throughout the entire store and for at least another half hour afterwards…
I don’t know what it is but I’ll gladly go to the one farther down the road just to avoid this huge discomfort…

By far the best grocery shopping experience I’ve ever had. The store is big enough to have a good selection, but not so big you get lost. The checkout lanes were well-​staffed (we had two baggers!) and very efficient. Best of all, we saved a bunch of money. Couldn’t ask for more from a grocery store.
