LLBean

This is a big well-​stocked L.L.Bean. It’s located in a small mall, but accessible like a standalone store. Mainly clothing including shoes and outerwear, with a small selection of outdoor equipment and stocking stuffers. The clothes are mainly for older people, for better or worse (mainly worse for me because of the extreme short-​torso and high-​waisted fit of their women’s clothes). But I will never lose my love for their men’s plaid flannel shirts.
The employees here are almost too helpful, I’ve never had to look far for assistance. Probably the best customer service of any retail store I know. Keep in mind that their prices are high, and you can sometimes find the same item for less at the EMS on the other end of the mall. The return policy is fantastic. The store is fun to browse, and they have a good (and convenient) parking lot.
Possibly helpful hint: If you order from L.L.Bean’s website, shipping is free, and you can return defective items (or things that just didn’t work out) to the store.
