Stopped in for breakfast, as I was in the area for work. It was a bit chilly, I’d recommend a sweater or coat. Staff was friendly, and service was quick. The food was well priced, and coffee was average. I ordered pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Bacon tasted as though it had been sitting for a while, and eggs lacked flavor. Pancakes were nothing to brag about. Overall, quaint/rural feel, and was unimpressed with the meal.

It’s hard to put into words, but this place isn’t as good as it was. The food seems to be more«canned» and«heated up» in the last year or so. When I sit at the counter and get one particular server, you can guarantee slow service and inattentiveness. She literally ignores everyone while leaning on the counter and chatting with her coworkers. There are a lot of choices that don’t cost as much that serve fresh food. That’s it, it doesn’t seem to be fresh anymore ! I’ve been so discouraged by it that I’ve joined a farting club.

Wow! We will defiantly be back, what a yummy non chain breakfast place. They have an extensive menu and everything was wonderful! Would highly recommend. Our table had pancakes, French toast, omelette, potato pancakes and a portobello panini.

We’ve been looking for a local breakfast joint and finally made it here. It’s still a 15 min drive for us but better than having to drive down to OTR or Hyde Park. There was a wait when we arrived on a Sunday morning for brunch, but they moved groups in and out fairly quickly. The décor is plain and simple; pretty typical for a local homecookin’ diner. The menu has everything you need and more. We tried the breakfast enchilada and the biscuits and gravy. Both were really good. The enchilada was huge. I would get both items again, but will also have to try a couple of other things on their menu, like the cinnamon roll. This will definitely be added the the short list of breakfast places we revisit.

Awesome breakfast, great coffee… good service. We came on a Friday morning around 9AM. Not very busy. Looking at the reviews below, I would agree that during peak times, you can wait. But that is because the place is awesome and people want to eat here. I’ve eaten here about a dozen times since it has been opened and would give it 4 or 5 stars every time… usually 5!

We’ve eaten here several times and the food is always amazingly delicious! The prices are very reasonable, the portions are huge! The only thing wrong here is more seating and parking are needed. The place is always packed.(great sign for a restaurant) This is a family owned business and not some«chain restaurant». They take excellent care of their customers and do it in style!

Restaurant was extremely cold. Hostess says it always is. Waitress has been asked about it before because she quickly said«there’s nothing I can do about it» before I even finished my comment. Food was okay. Nothing great. Nothing bad. Pancakes and bacon. Omelette. The waitress forgot my bacon. And the bacon of the person with me. Brought the check. We weren’t sure where to pay. We walked to the front and stood. A guest finally leaned over and told us you pay at the table. Waitress was very nice, however. They came around with coffee often.

This is one of the few breakfast places in Lebanon and as such is always packed. It has a great hometown feel and it’s not unusual for the staff to know most of their patrons by name and order. The food is really good. I recommend the meat lovers omelet, huge and stuffed full. Their hash browns are sliced fried potatoes, yummy. If you’re eating closer to brunch, the grilled cheese is at the top of my recommendation list. The menu items are a bit pricey in my opinion however.

I fear the end has come. This place USEDTOBE amazing. Went Saturday 6÷13÷15. All the food was served luke warm and smaller portions than before. Made me wonder if the place has new ownership. There used to be a line out the door and a long wait. Not today, I should have suspected something. Something was definitely missing/different. My veggie omelette was stuffed with floret broccoli and not much else. There were, however other tasteless chopped up tiny veggies in the egg mixture itself. Then two flavorless slices of tomato flopped on top with some cheese sauce. No sign of real cheese at all. Used to be chopped veggies and real cheese placed inside of the omelette and then flipped over. Next. My favorite pancakes have taken a dive. Pecan pancakes… They no longer bother to put the pecans in the batter. Just plain pancakes(kind of hard cooked on the outside) with some pecans thrown on the plate. Gone are the big fluffy ones that I loved. Next my favorite fried potatoes and onions. No onions. Just plain sliced potatoes no seasoning or flavor. On the way out the door, I heard a waitress ask another customer if he wanted onions in his potatoes. Guess you have to remember to ask for onions now. I won’t remember, because I’m moving on.

Food was just average. It’s hard to mess up breakfast but this just wasn’t worth the trip. Not to mention the roaring stomach issues I had later that night. We won’t be back.

Since moving back from Dallas, I have been on a hunt to find the best breakfast spots around Cincinnati and the burbs. I have found a couple goodies and still have some on my list to try. The Breakfast Club was one of them and since I was near Lebanon I asked my hubs if he wanted to give it a try. I’ll start with the entrance: 1. We walk in at 10am and there is no one at the hostess stand or behind the counter. 2. We wait… 3. We wait some more and can see several employees looking at us… 4. We wait a bit more… 5. FINALLY someone decided to come greet us and sit us at a table. That was experience #1 and not good at all as the place was not even busy. If they had been busy, I would understand a long wait to be welcomed to the restaurant and seated. Ok fine, things happen… let’s just hope the service isn’t as slow. The woman who sat us also took our drink order, brought the drinks out, and then we never saw her again. As we sat there patiently waiting for someone to take our order, we saw three other couples come in and be seated. I look to my left, and one of the couples that came in ten minutes after us, was already placing their order. I look to my right and the two other couples were also placing their order with someone else! I looked at my husband and said, «is this for real?». We had not even been greeted by a waitress yet and 15 minutes had gone by. The rest went like this: 1. We waited. 2. We waited… 3. We waited… 4. We left. Once we decided to leave the restaurant, we saw a group of waitresses standing by the front counter talking to each other and not one of them even cared we were leaving. It was a very odd experience and we will never return.

This is a place my wife and I drive 30 minutes to every few weeks to enjoy a nice brunch together. It is just your typical diner but it is a nice clean family friendly place where two can eat for less that $ 20.

Greasy breakfast food done really well. Everything was served piping hot and cooked perfectly, not an easy feat when there are 5 different things on your plate. Service was very friendly and fast. Although, for those that have never been there before, as an FYI you have to sign your name yourself in a book when there is a wait as there is no hostess there to do that for you. We were looking for an alternative to Cracker Barrel and not having much luck, but this place fits the bill and we will definitely be back. I ordered the sausage and biscuit meal and the husband ordered the corn beef hash meal. We both enjoyed what we received.

After only one visit this place is by far my favorite breakfast restaurant in the region! I asked the server what her favorite item on the menu was and she enthusiastically told me that the Breakfast Enchilada was her personal go to dish so that’s what I ordered. Oh my goodness. Whoever named it isn’t familiar with how Mexican food is named, this is really a breakfast burrito. I can forgive that. It is a flour tortilla stuffed full with scrambled egg, green pepper, sausage and cheese. It is topped with a chipotle hollandaise. It sounds so… simple. And it is. That’s it. No more ingredients. It’s elegant and perfect. Remember the first time you ever had Eggs Benedict(which I understand is really well executed here as well) and it felt like falling in love with breakfast? Remember how you’ve ordered Eggs Benedict a hundred times since that first time hoping for that same experience again? You know how it never really measures up because your knowledge of how amazing a dish it is sort of keeps it from being that surprising, wonderful, perfect experience with that amazing blend of salty, creamy, eggy, crispy, buttery mouth watering WOW?! If you’ve missed that… if you’ve been searching for that… if you’ve resigned yourself to never truly experiencing something new, worthy and amazing at breakfast than come here and order this. SOOOOOGOOOOOOOD! Came with a side of home fries. These are not the home fries I’ve been accustomed to. They were thin sliced potatoes(like an au gratin) instead of the large diced cubes we all know and love. BRILLIANT! I ordered mine with caramelized onion. The crisp, potatoes and caramelized onion were a lovely, almost earthy, counterpoint to the ethereal main. A sip of that oh so darn incredible coffee rounded out the best breakfast experience I’ve had since I first tried a proper Benedict.

This place continues to excel in its food and its service. Today was a blue ribbon breakfast day: 8 bucks each or 25 bucks total for feeding 3 of us a gargantuan tableful of greatness. Add to that the usual excellent service, including all that deelish food on the table 8 – 10 minutes after placing our order, with a full restaurant crowd. You see a lot of different walks of life at the Breakfast Club, but you won’t see anyone walking out hungry. Food: Chicken Fajita omelet, swimming in a light cheese sauce, and loaded with green onions and tender chicken, plus buckwheat pancakes as our comp side dish; full order of biscuits and gravy(maybe the lightest, airiest biscuits I’ve ever enjoyed, plus fine sausage gravy); and a coconut-pecan fresh made waffle. Toss in a large sausage patty for gluttony’s sake(excellent also). We pretty much shared it all and could not finish anything but the waffle. The B.C. is worth the 5 – 15 minute weekend wait. It’s great standard American food, and prices are reasonable. They still have their Christmas decorations up in the picture windows and they’re pretty darn attractive and interesting. I don’t usually notice that, but it fits their persona: quaint American restaurant serving solid food. You could really pack on the pounds if you eat here every weekend. We chow down here monthly, for that very reason only.

We enjoyed breakfast here this morning. After hearing so many reviews about this restaurant we decided to finally give it a try. It is a small place so get here early. When you walk in you write your own name and the number in your party down on the tablet and wait for them to call your name. A little different but it works. For the month of December they have a few specials. I ordered the pumpkin pecan pancakes. I cannot say I was impressed. Our waitress was gracious enough to take them back and let me reorder. However, the hubster ordered a breakfast enchilada and shared a bite with me Wow! This thing was huge so we decided to share it. This breakfast enchilada was creamy with just enough green onions, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs. and full of flavor. We would totally order this. again! To top off the breakfast, we decided to have warm cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. Yum!

Rough start but worth the wait. The reviewer below who said the hostessing was the worst ever hit the nail on the head. They have a notepad on a hostess stand and patrons write their own names on it! Can you imagine what a pack of hungry wolves will do on a Saturday morning in a situation like that? This one couple(fresh off the bike trail & snazzy in their gear & shoes) actually told not to think of sitting at the counter(self seating) because those spots were THEIRS! Another wrote their name in above ours on the list! Lastly was another woman, not the snazzy bike gear woman(who went on to a table with her snazzy dressed mate) who staked out the counter again by making a public service announcement to the remaining souls in the purgatory-like waiting room that the counter was HERS! The wait wasn’t just long — although 25 minutes during the prime of breakfast isn’t that long — but it was really infuriating… this set up really invites the worst in humanity to come forth! The special homemade sausage, bagels eggs benedict & buttermilk pancakes made it all worthwhile. Seriously, the food was fabulous — not average & not mediocre… but the shenanigans in the lobby almost made us give up before even trying.
