This was a nice respite than the normal crowds that are converging for stopping spot by the grapevine. While I know most people won’t consider froyo a viable lunch; we do. The bathrooms were clean and we were the only ones there at 12:00. I suppose that would be different in summer. I am not sure why it was empty because Yogurtland is the best. Sixteen froyo flavors to choose from and they have cool biodegradable spoons. The flavors range from the simple original tart which is refreshing to seasonal flavors such as pralines/pecans and candy cane. Also, while they have the traditional toppings like peanut butter cups and cheesecake squares, they have lychee and mochi. The atmosphere is always bright and cheery and seem to always be clean. While they are a hit pricey I never seem to flinch at my bill because it taste so good.

I was super excited to see that they put in a Yogurtland into the Grapevine. Unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed. Not because of quality or customer service. But because of quantity. The selection here was nowhere near as plentiful as other locations. I felt like they had around half the amount of flavors as I’m used to. That means I couldn’t get my usual. I don’t want to speculate as to why they’ve got such a limited stock, but I will lament it. I guess if I’m craving it that much I can’t be a beggar, but I will definitely be keeping that in mind next time I’m deciding if I need a cold sweet treat for my road trip.

Nice to have yogurt in the long, hot drive on the 5. No crowds and delicious strawberry water free for everyone! I had a delicious chocolate yogurt with all the fixings. Yum.

This place is the dirtiest Yogurtland I’ve ever been in & it had nothing to do with the guy behind the register. It was packed & only 1 employee. ½ the machines were out of yogurt. The poor guy was just trying to keep up with the line. The tables were dirty. The bathrooms were filthy. I went next door to Chipotle to use theirs. My son was the only one who got yogurt because like I said ½ the machines were blinking on empty & the flavors that were left were not good. I felt so sorry for the cashier. He said they always only have 1 guy working except on Sundays. That seems very crazy just from a safety stand point. I will never stop here again.

I was so sad. The bathroom were filthy. Overflowing paper towels on the floor. The bottom of the yogurt trays haven’t been cleaned.

I always stop here to get some rest before going through the mountain area to LA. Tejon Ranch is getting better and better in these years. First of all, they build up the outlet! Gosh. it was nothing there years ago. Go back to Yougartland. Now, it’s really nice to have a dessert after Chipolet or Panda Express. I am not sure it’s good for me since I would stay longer time while stopping here in the future…

Really good yogurt and clean place, but the fruit toppings should be cut to a smaller size.

I forgot to mention that this location has an astonishing 16 different flavors at any time. And it is clean and spacious! What the heck else are you going to do in Lebec, anyway — aside from get flaming diarrhea at the Chipotle next door? Original review stands: So this was sort of weird. We found this outpost of Phillip Chang’s metro-hip yogurt emporium at the Northern foot of the Grapevine in beautiful Lebec, in between a Tesla charging station and a Chipotle that had a line forty people deep. The Chipotle line was too long and none of us wanted to finish our trip to LA with flaming diarrhea, so we opted to have yogurt for lunch. This entire I-5 exit didn’t even exist a few years ago and now hosts a slew of gas stations, traditional favorites like McDonald’s, In-N-Out, Del Taco and Wendy’s, less traditional also-rans like Panda Express, and now a Yogurtland catering to better sorts of folk like my Berkeley family. Hip Asians and such. This Yogurtland executed on the formula as well as any I’ve seen. The only difference, really, is that this one is probably about triple the size of their average store, and the bathrooms are extra large and extra clean. The flavors were bright and crisp — tart remains a favorite and double cookies and cream was no slouch. The toppings bar was well-stocked and we were grateful for the very large number of fruit options. Sort of made us feel like we were eating lunch, not just enjoying dessert in the surreal hot weather of newly-developed metropolitan Lebec. Check it out — it kicks ass on Panda Express and Wendy’s, and maybe even holds its own against In-N-Out.

This is a fun quick stop on your way back to L.A. from Central or Northern CA. It’s right near the bottom of the Grapevine & has easy freeway access. It’s nestled amongst a scattered group of other establishments ranging from coffee, to gas, to burritos & other such places. We’ve been there twice & it’s always been busy, but never overly crowded. Like most frozen yogurt shops of this kind, you serve yourself buffet style — as much as you’d like with a great variety of flavors & toppings. Then you pay according to weight… not yours… the yogurt’s. Slow down — easy cheetah! If you go too crazy, your bill can shoot up super quick. It was nearly $ 30.00 for me, my wife, &4 of our boys. *Parenting Lesson 253: When taking your children to a serve-yourself/pay-by-weight frozen yogurt establishment, DONOTLETTHEMSERVETHEMSELVES.

This Yogurtland was basically what made me came back to life during my drive back down to SoCal. It’s located right before Grapevine maybe around an hour an a half from LA still. Thank for saving my life Yogurtland.

This Yogurtland is a welcome change from all the fast food joints on the 5. However, this place is dirty… stopped by yesterday on the way home to LA and there were flies everywhere. I saw some land on the toppings so I only got sprinkles and syrup. The fruit did not look appetizing at all. The trash can immediately outside the door was overflowing with trash and flies. We sat outside because it seemed cleaner and less fly-free than inside the store. Line was super long — a large family in front of my boyfriend and me insisted on trying every single flavor and topping — but there was only one worker handling that hot mess.

Not to be confused with Yogurtland! I believe this is the only place in California where you can taste genuine yogur, not to be confused with the imitation yogurt. Goes great with fruit toppings like straberry, mago, or cocnut shavings. Definitely a unique experience.

Self serve yogurt place. Clean and cute on the inside. You pick up your cup(sanitize your hands first please, its there for a reason!) You choose your yogurt then meander down to the toppings load up there and finish it off with sauce. I tried two flavors of yogurt, peanut butter and chocolate and a vanilla bean yogurt. How is it possible that yogurt can have absolutely NO taste at all? I had accidently put a dollop of the Mint green yogurt in my cup and when I tasted it I was sorry that I had not filled my entire cup with it. It was the only thing that had taste. I think they count on you on loading up with the sugary candies and topping and syrup but I had a lot fo yogurt come out in to my cup and only had a little room for PB cups and they were out of chocolate sauce. Hence I was left with the flavor of the yogurt itself which was bland bland bland. So sad. When they ask you if you want a taste say YES! Then you know which you prefer. I ad declined to my own determent assuming that every yogurt shop is the same. I was sadly mistaken.

2014 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 31⁄100 This Yogurtland is basically one of my favorite reasons to stop at the Tejon Ranch rest stop. You know you’ve found a good rest stop when there’s a YOGURTLAND! I was so shocked when I saw this rest stop had one and was super excited because it’s quite out of the ordinary! I make the drive from the bay area down to SoCal every month or so and this is definitely the only rest stop that has one! This is also a really nice location in general. It is always very clean, and never busy. Great assortment of flavors as well! It’s really great when you’re traveling during the summertime because it can get SUPER hot and Yogurtland is the perfect way to cool off! They also have a water cooler with fresh strawberries or other fruit in it by the door. I also really like how the door handles are giant pink and green Yogurtland spoons — so cute! I highly recommending paying a visit to Yogurtland during your next road trip. It will make everything better :)

It had been a long time since I’d last had frozen yogurt so when we stopped by Yogurtland I was surprised to see how it worked. There was a wall of yogurt flavors that you could mix into your cup. I tried three flavors and found lemon to be my favorite! Then I moved on to the toppings. There were probably 50 different ones to choose from and I soon found my cup full of candy toppings, completely hiding the yogurt underneath. My husband also had a cup of fro-yo with all of the toppings! We weighed our treats together(the cost is based on weight) and were shocked when it came out to only $ 5.38(for both of us!) Good stuff! Note: They also have strawberry-infused water in the corner! Yummm!

39 cents an ounce say whhaaa Yeah. This place is 4 cents more per ounce for the same yogurt found in SJ, but it’s understandable as this location is in the middle of a hot desert and people would be very much willing to pay that amount to be able to sit in a nice air conditioned place and eat refreshingly cold froyo. Honestly I love yogurtland, and have rated the past 3 stores I’ve been to 5 stars, but this store’s quality seems subpar, as some of the dispensers oozed out really liquidy yogurt(which in that heat would melt in 5 seconds flat). Some of the toppings also didn’t look as fresh as usual. So –1 star for that :( Price wasn’t really much of an issue as I still ended up paying around 3 dollars for my fix of tarty creamy froyo. One thing I love about this place is that they offer Lucky Charms marshmallows as a topping. Yum! Def a genius idea to open a yogurtland in a location like this!

This is definitely a change in food options over at this particular food and pee stop. My brother, mother and I all decided to stop at this exit that is right before the grapevine to stretch our legs and make one last stop to use the restroom. Since it was quite a warm day, my brother was craving something cold and sweet, so he decided to drive to Yogurtland(right next to Starbucks) and since it was his turn to drive, we all just went with it. Anyways, this Yogurtland location is very clean and looks like all the other Yogurtlands that I have been to back in So. Cal. I like that there is a hand sanitizer station right next to the white cups. My brother ended up getting red velvet, New York Cheesecake & mango with strawberry slices and fruity pebbles. I did not personally like the red velvet flavor and thought it tasted pretty disgusting. I thought the New York Cheesecake just tasted average. But the mango flavor was quite refreshing and tasted like a real mango & not artificial tasting. At $ 0.39 an ounce(which seems to be a little higher than the price back in So. Cal) my brother’s total came out to almost $ 3. He enjoyed all the flavors of his frozen treat by the way. The toppings station was nice and clean and didn’t have bits of toppings all over the counter. The strawberry flavored water(free) had a nice light refreshing strawberry taste and it was a nice touch that the water was really cold. The woman’s restroom was nice and clean as well(yay, no disgusting fast food restrooms here). I wouldn’t mind stopping here again for the free fruit flavored water and the clean restrooms, but am definitely not a fan of the frozen yogurt(texture and flavor because I prefer ice cream and gelato).

THE most REMOTE Yogurtland EVER. Probably the best place to pull over to on a long drive to and from NorCal/SoCal. 5 freeway. By the Grapevine. The end.

I have been watching and waiting in eager anticipation for this Yogurtland to open ever since the first signs went up to announce its impending arrival. I have not been disappointed. I make frequent road trips South over the Grapevine, so I stop at this exit often to fuel up both myself and my car. This exit had almost everything I could possibly need — gas, fru-fru coffee drinks, a wide range of fast food options(burgers, Chinese, Mexican, Sandwiches), even general Sundries and gifts. Until now, there was one gaping hole in the litany of provisions; there were no good DESSERT options. Well, Yogurtland has decisively risen to the occasion and filled this gap. Yogurtland is the ultimate do-it-yourself paradise. The effusively bubbly workers will offer you tasting cups as you enter so that you can taste test their 16 flavors of yogurt to aid you in the decision process. She gave my mom and me four cups each, and told us to come back if we needed more. The 16 flavors are arrayed across the rear wall in pairs. You can select your flavors individually, or choose 8 different swirled combinations. The choices today were Dutch Chocolate/Arctic Vanilla, Double Cookies & Cream/Cran Raspberry Tart, Taro/Matcha Green Tea, Fresh Strawberry/New York Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake Batter/Pistachio, Rootbeer Float/Peanut Butter, Yo Frappé(gooey caramel, rich mocha, hint of java)/Mango Mixer(Mango, passionfruit, green apple, pineapple), and Guava Pineapple Tart/plain tart. There are ten different fresh fruit toppings that were succulent and pure perfection. Seriously, everything looked like it had been put out just a moment before we got there; nothing was wilted or browning. There were more than 25 dry toppings(my favorite is Mochi) and three Ghirardelli syrups(chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel) to top your creations off. Just as you walk in the door, there is a chilled water cooler with large ripe red strawberries floating in it and a convenient stack of plastic cups — NICE. There is a hand sanitizer station in the main dining area which was large, open, and brightly lit from sunlight streaming in through the large windows. The bathrooms are clean, too. Yogurtland is located between Chipotle and a large green grassy area perfect for children and pets to stretch and get their wiggles out. Check in here and check out their sweet treats! You won’t be sorry.
