Back at Circle Lanes. Steadily getting better. Later bowling is great fun. The place is hopping and the arcade is open and fun. One of the bars is open now. What a great addition to the area nightlife for parents and kids.

Took the kids to circle lanes last night… place was complete chaos… the average age of the personnel working was 16… they lost complete control of the objectives, they had no idea how to utilize the open lanes. When we arrived, we were told we had a 20 minute wait…1 hour 20 minutes later, we were told maybe 40 minutes more… meanwhile scores of people walked in and received lanes before us… I’m not one to care about wait times, however the staff seemed to have no clue who was next, nor did they have list in which to refer to… The lanes looked great, however the place was under construction… they had nod food or beverages, and we were told they have no plans on having them in the future… also no bar… not that I am looking to drink, but sometimes an adult beverage while bowling is nice… we were told we can bring drinks in, at a cover price of $ 20 per person… the video games were way over priced and the clientele was a bit shady… with so many other options available for bowling, I see absolutely no reason to go back…

Let me start by saying, I am a casual bowler and have bowled in all of the surrounding establishments. This has always been by far my favorite place for many reasons. Foremost it has the best lane quality, modern equipment, good promotions, and a reasonable café, I have never been disappointed here and the kids always want to stay longer. I can’t wait to play in the new facility, it was totally updated this year.

Let me preface this review by stating that i am NOT a bowling snob nor even really like the«sport» of bowling. Having said that, this is the most pitiful excuse for a bowling alley that i have EVER seen. I stopped in on a quiet Tuesday night just looking to play a few casual games of bowling. The place was absolutely dead with only one other lane being taken. It took 10 minutes trying to figure out how to enter names in what looks to be a DOS based system from 1992(seriously i think my Gameboy 15 years ago had a faster processor than this thing.) As we started playing we noticed that every few frames the machine would not reset all the pins and count missing ones towards the bowlers score! You couldn’t even bowl a complete game without having a full set of pins set up each time around. I thought about going to the counter to complain, but the«customer service representatives» were all sitting around the bar and looked completely uninterested in doing much of anything other than chatting with each other. Mind you my experience was about on par with my expectation so far, so i was pretty much indifferent about Circle Lanes until i went to pay for our bowling. I had signed up for a new bowler $ 10 coupon that said to print the email and bring it to the counter for redemption. I had forgotten to print it, and instead showed the representative the email on my phone. He stated that this was not valid and that i had to have a physical paper version. After reminding him that the year was 2015 and the NORMAL course of business is to accept electronic versions of pretty much anything in the world from airplane tickets to even checking into your hotel room, i pointed out that there wasn’t even a barcode on the coupon and that nothing would stop me from printing it off 100 times and coming back with the same piece of paper. Logic eluded this man so i asked to speak to a manager(a last ditch effort) and was told there wasn’t one. At this point i was so frustrated that i just decided to leave, instead of spend well over $ 10 shooting some pool and drinking a few beers like i had originally planned. Congratulations Circle Lanes, i applaud your utter lack of regard for your customers and resiliency to remain open in this day and age with a bowling alley that has not updated it’s policy and procedures or been cleaned since 1984. PS — if anyone needs any $ 10 off coupons shoot me a message, i will be printing them out by the thousands!

I’ve bowled in many houses. Some great some that should have been closed years ago. But Circle stands out. They always have great lane conditions that are both bowl able Nd a challenge and rarely inconsistent. The leagues are pretty good some best bowlers around bowl here compared to other houses. If your lookin to get better you come here no questions asked. The snack bar is te only complaint for the amount they charge and for te quality if ether go to white caste or dominos In the parking lot but hey I only go to bowl not eat.

I enrolled in the Kids Bowl Free program which this alley participates in. With this program, your children can bowl two games every day in the summer. I still had to pay for shoe rental($ 3 pp). I also paid for myself to bowl, but the program gives you a deal to buy a family pass for the adults. Mon-Fri before 5pm, its $ 3.50 pp to bowl. I don’t know how that compares to other alleys. On the wkends its $ 4.50 pp plus the shoe rental for two games. Nice thing to do on a really hot day or a rainy day. Just call ahead for availability, bc in the summer there are lots of camp groups in the morning. We arrived around 4pm, and the alley was pretty quiet.

We love coming to Circle Lanes. The lanes are clean. The computers are modern and new. The prices are great. The food from the snack bar(which was recently renovated) is delicious. There’s also a big bar area. They do have laser light bowling, so I’m not sure why previous reviewers didn’t know that. They’re a Kids Bowl Free participating lane and also run homeschooler specials during the school year. Very friendly people with lots of different adult and youth leagues. The drawbacks to it are it’s a cash only place(ATM on site) and no party room for birthdays(parties are held here, but the kids eat at the tables by the lanes).

The bowling alley is pretty clean and the staff are friendly. I enjoy bowling Saturday nights because they do laser bowling, but be prepared to encounter a lot of loud kids! Sometimes the lanes are a little on the oily side and the equipment needs an upgrade, but overall a good place to bowl.

Circle lanes is one the last bowling alleys in the area, I also feel like their prices might reflect that. The place is clean though and the lanes are well maintained. The equipment is fairly up to date. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a bowling alley with fancier equipment then what they had. There selection of bowling balls was adequate enough to suit my needs. I have very large hands and my fingers will not fit in your run of the mill ball, although I do realize I should probably just put out the cash for my own ball. I thought the price per game was a little high, it was $ 4.00 bucks a person and there were no laser lights! I think we all expect them to jazz it up at least a little. I can’t comment on shoe rentals because I have my own bowling shoes but I think it was between 2 and 4. They also have a little bar and a pizzeria attached so you can get drinks or food, kind of nice to go out with a few people. The only thing that you should know is that this place is cash only. Can put a real dent in your night not knowing that going in.
