Smoothie Spree Chronicles — Part 4: I’m a fan! Not horrifyingly overpriced unlike many other smoothie/juice shops, and a very diverse menu. I got the«iron strong» smoothie, and they had a good number of green smoothie options as well as smoothie bowls and fresh juice. Free wi-fi too so I even got some work done! :)

Normally pretty happy with this place. Tonight not so much. Going to have to call back because we were overcharged significantly. 20 minutes before close they were trying to turn off the open sign. Drink was not full. Only had tiny bit of jelly in the cooler and no honey butter. Staff pretty displeased people were still coming in at the end of the night.

A business that takes 30 min to make a smoothie will fail. Don’t expect this place to last long. I suggest hiring enough people to actually run a business. One person doesn’t cut it.

Roxberry Juice Co has so many yummy smoothies! I encourage everyone to read through the nutritional binder on the counter. Like every smoothie place, there are some smoothies that are super high in calories and not as nutritional as you would think. I wouldn’t recommend this place for your post workout smoothie as the protein count is quite low in most of their smoothies(under 12 grams). However it is excellent for a snack or an alternative to junk food ice cream. My favorite drink is the OMG Creamcicle. If you’re feeling really adventurous you can order a wheat grass shot. Interesting! And of course their buttered rolls taste like Heaven. Pros: Friendly staff, easy to understand menu, and easy access to nutritional stats. Cons: Parking is limited as Roxberry shares a lot with other busy shops. Not that bad, though.

I recently became a fan of another smoothie joint but I was in Lee’s Summit and saw this place and decided to stop in for a brunch smoothie. YIPPEE! It was delicious and cheaper than the other palce! I got the Marathon because I wanted some protien and I like the multi-vitamin shot in it. SUPER yummy. The girl working was great, super nice, friendly and helpful with my questions about the menu. The décor is fun, retro and cute. They have a small 8oz size for kiddos which is a nice touch. I will be back and can’t wait to try a new flavor!

Alright I’ll give you five stars now. You’re just a smoothie shop after all and unless you do something completely ridiculous like pour a broken blender part into the cup I guess I shouldn’t complain.(Yes this has happened elsewhere.) All the flavor combos are GREAT! I appreciate their consistency, every smoothie is good, no complaints. I’ll never understand who would want to buy a 32oz smoothie, but that’s a rant for another day. I guess maybe if they’re portioning out for 2 smoothies that would make sense? Ahh nevermind. 5 Stars Roxbury!

Great juice, wholesome healthy and their hand dryers in bathroom are quite an experience. Family owned and operated!

Roxberry’s juice seems much less«artificial» than other juice joints in the Kansas City area. It actually tastes like juice, as opposed to the«Smarties dissolving in embalming fluid» crud from Smoothie King. You really can’t go wrong with any choice on their menu, although some of their drinks have offensively ridiculous names such as «LOL Lime.» I gave my friends and family permission to murder me if I’m ever caught saying an internet acronym in real life, and I’m fairly confident this should policy should be made into a nationwide law. Other items on the menu include fresh orange /apple juice, workout smoothies, that vile wheatgrass garbage people drink so they can poop out their own internal organs, and all the standard smoothie shots(energy, protein, wellness, armor class bonus, resistance to lightning-based Pokemon, etc). You can also order their«famous» rolls, which are large squats of relatively expensive glistening bread. They recently installed two soft-serve frozen yogurt machines, but I have never seen anybody use them. I’m not even sure they work. Service is great on weekdays, when the kinda-nerdy chick wearing the glasses is there. She’s extremely nice and has never once tried to poison me, unlike most women. I don’t even order anything specific anymore; she just throws random stuff into a blender and hands it to me. I don’t have any idea what she’s blending, but it always turns out great. She and me, we tight, yo. We’re two dynamic and unique individuals brought together by the amazing power of amalgamated fruits. If you’re the kinda-nerdy chick and you happen to read this: my Roxberry card says I get my free smoothie today.

I’ve only been here once, but I’ve gotta say it was really pretty good. I’m not really into the juice/smoothie thing, but I had the Mango magic and I was pretty impressed. This is one of their 100% juice blends. It had a nice little zing, but it was pretty sweet. They are a little pricey– I paid something like $ 4.50 or more for a 16 oz drink –which is not a surprise in this trendy little shopping area. Their menu also says they have ‘rolls’…I wasn’t exactly sure what those were, but looks to be a sweet, bready type thing according to the other reviews. A strange combination — smoothies and rolls. Hmm I will go back when I get the chance.

I’m officially addicted to their Mango Madness smoothie, which is their 100% juice blend of orange juice, pineapple juice, strawberries and mangoes. Their smoothies are thick, well blended, tasty, and FRESH. I cannot stand a watery smoothie, and Roxberry definitely does it up right. They are also the only place(to my knowledge) with wheatgrass in Lee’s Summit, so that’s a major plus for me. Their rolls are good too, I tried a white one the other day. Warm, buttery, slightly sweet, probably not-so-good for you. But a tasty indulgence to pair with my über healthy smoothie. Okay, here’s my complaint. I went to purchase a gift card, paid for it, then she handed me 3 coupons for free smoothies. Upon questioning, apparently they don’t sell gift cards, just coupons? This was really frustrating and should be explained before I fork over $ 15. So, word to the wise. Ask before paying.
