The Children’s Place

Love this chain and love its location in Lee’s Summit. The staff here are very friendly and always willing to help you get a deal, whether through their (weekly, it seems) sales, coupons, or membership perks. I frequent the baby boy section, which to me is notorious for silly t-​shirts and adorable shoes. We dressed my son in a polo, tie, driving cap, and plaid short ensemble for Easter and loved it so much we stuffed him in it for the next 6 months. The clothes hold up very, very well and — when on sale — are a great deal. There’s much more selection for girls (typical of any kids clothes store) and kids (as opposed to toddlers/​babies), but I can usually leave with something I can’t wait to show off.
