I’ve stayed here a couple times now. Pros: The location and outside wood deck are great. Cons: the wifi did not work. Mattress was a super soft memory foam and not very comfortable. Pillow was super thick and made it hard to sleep. Overall a good value for the $. I would stay here again but will bring my own pillow.

Price = 4(59.00 plus 12% tax for stand up shower corner unit. Not too shabby… no really: the place was okay. The bath has a window that is not secure and big enough for a small human in crawl through… so don’t leave anything here you care about. Experience = 4(management was nice… easy walk to the very basic café Bodie’s something… easy cheap stop after visiting Yosemite. Any shower is a good shower in these parts.)

This motel is exactly what it appears to be. Small rooms, with furniture that you would expect, bathroom clean and tidy. I found the room absolutely spotless. For $ 70/night in the Eastern Sierras during the summer, this is a fantastic deal and I am grateful that it is here, from a weary traveler that didn’t want to spend a fortune.

Inexpensive and clean. Very basic, which is what I look for when I’m traveling. Main complaint was the noise from the passing traffic, the room I was in ended right next to the sidewalk, so no buffer for the noise. Bring ear plugs :)

It is ok just for a place to sleep. Everything else was taken & we needed to stop. No A/C & somewhat warm in August. I looked at the room before I took it. Looked ok, but wear shoes & bring sanitizer. My granddaughter was black from bouncing around on the flood. No extra dead bolt on door. Parking is minimal. There is street parking. Definitely no frills. $ 70 for a queen bed. The shower was wonderful.

This place is the best bang for your buck. It is an inexpensive place to stay the night, has queen sized beds, and is very clean inside the rooms. They do not take reservations as of the time I went, and they open at 4pm. Wonderful if you are stranded on a holiday weekend at 3:45pm, like I was. They seem to fill up quick because there is not many rooms and there was a line behind me. The staff was very friendly and are quick to tell you about the things they don’t have(no telephones or A/C in the rooms) This is not a problem because you can get cell reception in the parking lot, and it is Northern California, open a window, there is a fan in the room as well. I paid $ 70 for a rather large room, outside has not been remodeled, However, the inside of the rooms seem to have been remodeled for the most part. Nothing fancy, all the essentials, would stay there again
