I no longer eat at this restaurant. It’s cold in the winter, hot in the summer. I’ve told the owner several times how uncomfortable it is in there & she just replies, «We just opened up.» Bull crap! You’ve been here cooking for hours before opening. Quit being so tight & turn on some heat or a/c depending on the season. She does not care if you are uncomfortable at all. Also — her Cashew Chicken on the buffet bar has NO cashews in it!!! None, notta, not one. Are you freaking kidding me? Avoid this freak fest at all costs.

Worst barfey ever! Run, run away. Old, dried up food(out all day?). Questionable ceiling(don’t look up)! Even the sweet and sour sauce was sketchy. Honestly, the whole place made me want to turn around and leave… and that’s before I ate. I wish I had!

The worst food. The buffets food was all the same color. My son ended up in er with food poisoning. I asked for fresher food to be put on the bar the employees acted so rude. We will never eat at this place again. The food was stuck on the bottom of the pans it had set for so long.

I normally will drive right by any Chinese buffet, they are always hit or miss. If busy go in food will be fresh. This place was not busy. If I had one nice thing to say it would be that it tasted better then it looked. I will go back to my buffet model, if busy enjoy, if not don’t stop.

I really wish I could give more stars but I can’t. If you eat off the menu the food is average to good. Tonight we ate of the buffet. Don’t do it. For real the food was ice cold which from a health standpoint is very concerning. It wasn’t one cold dish it was most of them. We won’t go back.

Still my favorite Chinese Buffet in Lees Summit. Remember it is best to get there during lunch hours although I like their food even after it has set. I know that sounds a bit strange, but I like their seasonings and they keep the steam table hot. They will also gladly bring out fresh food for specific items you like. The price is still excellent. The family is still unusually polite, the place is clean and the music is nice.

Disappointment — first and last time for me. The place was almost empty and it took a while to get noticed. Chose the buffet, wrong choice. Everything we tried tasted seemed«old» or stale. Unedible. Went to the counter and told the lady, who said, «everything cooked fresh.» Not in the mood to argue I just asked how much it would cost me to just leave and never come back. The answer was nothing. Oh, did I mention that the whole time there was a small child of one of the employees running around the restaurant screaming. Nope, won’t recommend it.

They lost all my business! They stopped all take out from the buffet. Take your business to China King 305NE Todd Gorge Rd. Better value! Better food! Only a few miles away

HORRIBLE!!! You would think at 7pm they would have fresh food… NOT!!! think the food was left over from lunch. How many times can you scrape the bottom of the pan and make a pile? Seriously THEWORSTCHINESEFOOD I HAVEEVEREATEN!!! Can’t even say you get what you paid for. In this case you get what someone paid for during lunch!

FW is what I think can be wrong with Chinese food. I should have taken a tip from the screaming kids riding their bikes through the restaurant. Their mother is cooking in the kitchen, but they are having burger king??? Can anyone explain this to me? No need I found out by continuing to eat. «Whats wrong with here», you might ask? –Dried up stale buffet items that were NOT going to get replenished. –Dirty facility. –Dirty dishes. –Owners kids playing in the parking-lot(from ages 4 – 10 I think) then coming inside the restaurant screaming and shouting. I was actually told that I could use the WIFI from Mr. Goodcents.(I’m not sure but I’m guessing that this is not preferable business practice.) I could be wrong. Maybe they have an agreement with MGC. –The fortune cookie even sucked. All stale and nasty. I WILLNOTBEBACK

This is a nice family-owned Chinese restaurant, where all the employees are speaking Mandarin, their kids are playing out front, and the background music is Chinese. The atmosphere is casual and if you’re not Asian you need to ask for chopsticks. There is a buffet but I prefer to order off the menu. The shrimp lomein is tasty although not exactly loaded with shrimp. The potstickers are excellent, with thick homemade skin and a meaty filling. Oh, it’s inexpensive too.

La Fortuna in Lee’s Summit has a nice, large buffet. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The service was very good. The crab rangoon & spring rolls were good. So were the green beans. Great place tol stop before the movies down the street !
